Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports have turned their partnership into three distinct watch concepts: a mechanical chronograph for drivers, a connected edition conceived for mechanics, and a ceramic skeleton tourbillon for collectors. The collaboration began in 2024 and extends beyond watches into Alpine’s racing and development programs, according to Moser’s own account.
What the partnership covers
H. Moser & Cie. describes itself as Alpine Motorsports’ “First Global Partner.” Its stated scope includes the BWT Alpine F1 Team, Alpine Endurance Team, Alpine Academy, Rac(H)er and other projects. Moser also describes an exchange program linking the F1 team’s technical centre in Enstone with its watch manufacture in Neuhausen am Rheinfall. These details are the brands’ description of the arrangement, not an independent assessment of its results. H. Moser & Cie.’s partnership explainer
The partnership was announced in February 2024. The first watch, the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition, debuted in April 2024 at the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai; Moser says it was limited to 100 pieces. It is a separate release from the later ceramic tourbillon discussed below. H. Moser & Cie.’s retrospective
In 2025, the collaboration’s Drivers and Mechanics Editions made the link between watch design and team roles more explicit. The mechanical Drivers Edition and the connected Mechanics Edition serve different purposes; they should not be mistaken for two versions of the same watch. Alpine’s announcement of the 2025 editions

Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition: a racing chronograph
The Drivers Edition is the collaboration’s mechanical instrument-style option. Moser’s HMC 700 movement places the chronograph’s minutes and seconds in the centre rather than on subdials, and includes a flyback function. That layout is a defining design choice, but it is not evidence of independently verified legibility or performance in a cockpit.
Moser says the design draws on racing hardware through elements including V-shaped bridges, a bridge visible on the caseback and a rotor design. The official page lists reference 6700-1200, a 200-piece limit and a displayed price of CHF 59,000 excluding VAT. Local taxes, availability and future price changes can alter the amount a buyer ultimately pays. H. Moser & Cie. Drivers Edition information

Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition: a connected team concept
Alpine describes the Mechanics Edition as a connected digital showcase designed to meet the needs of a Formula 1 team. Its role is therefore different from the Drivers Edition’s mechanical chronograph: it is presented as a connected team-oriented experience, not as another version of the HMC 700 watch.
Alpine’s announcement does not establish a specific movement, edition quantity or price for the Mechanics Edition. It also does not provide grounds to treat the watch as a proven timing or communications tool. Alpine’s 2025 announcement

The ceramic model is a different proposition from the role-based 2025 editions: a skeletonised automatic watch built around a tourbillon. Moser identifies the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine Limited Edition, reference 6814-2100, as the partnership’s third creation and limits it to 100 pieces.
- Case: Anthracite-grey ceramic, 40.0 mm in diameter.
- Movement: HMC 814 automatic skeleton calibre, with a one-minute flying double hairspring tourbillon.
- Dial-side architecture: Alpine-blue bridges and main plate.
- Bracelet: Integrated blue Alcantara.
- Power reserve: 72 hours.
- Water resistance: 12 ATM, as stated by Moser.
- Edition and displayed price: 100 pieces and CHF 79,000 excluding VAT.
Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. The price is the official displayed figure checked on 4 October 2026, excluding VAT; it does not confirm a current offer or final local cost. H. Moser & Cie. ceramic edition information
Which one makes sense for which reader?
- For the mechanical chronograph and its unusual central display: the Drivers Edition is the collaboration’s driver-themed mechanical choice.
- For the connected, team-oriented idea: the Mechanics Edition is the relevant concept, but Alpine’s public announcement leaves its price and edition quantity unstated.
- For a skeleton movement and tourbillon: the ceramic edition is the high-horology option, rather than a practical substitute for the role-specific editions.
- For the partnership’s earliest watch: the 2024 Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton is a separate 100-piece release, not the later ceramic reference.

What Alpine and Moser say the partnership represents
David Gendry, then identified by Moser as VP of BWT Alpine F1 Team and VP Communications Alpine Brand, described the partnership this way: “H. Moser & Cie. represents exceptional watchmaking, blending tradition, elegance, and cutting-edge technology with a bold attitude. Just like we push boundaries on the track, Moser is moved by innovation and commitment. For Alpine and for H. Moser & Cie., every second counts.” This is a partner representative’s statement of intent, not independent evidence about watch performance. H. Moser & Cie.’s partnership explainer
