A ranked list of seven new models that all meet that ceiling cannot be supported by current evidence. The closest alternatives either start just above the budget, are priced in another currency, or are midsize rather than full-size. Below is what qualifies, what doesn’t, and how to build a shortlist that holds up when you start shopping.
The short answer
- Qualifies on price and size: INFINITI QX80 Pure 4WD (2026), reported at $86,850 in a Tom’s Guide review.
- Just over the ceiling: Cadillac Escalade (2026), starting at $91,100 per Cadillac’s 2026 model page.
- Not comparable: Lexus LX (2026), starting at C$124,050 in Canada. That is a Canadian dollar price for a different market.
- Under the ceiling but not full-size: Genesis GV80 3.5T Prestige AWD (2026), which the Tom’s Guide review describes as midsize.
The one qualifying candidate: INFINITI QX80 Pure 4WD
The QX80 is the only new full-size luxury SUV in the sources with a reported U.S. starting price under $90,000. Tom’s Guide reports $86,850 for the 2026 Pure 4WD. That figure comes from a review, not a manufacturer price sheet, so treat it as a reported starting point rather than a guaranteed number. Before you rely on it, confirm the current MSRP for the Pure 4WD on INFINITI’s U.S. site, then add the destination charge, which is typically not included in the headline figure.
The QX80 is a good fit for the title’s intent: a full-size, three-row luxury SUV in the same price bracket as the Escalade. The sources reviewed do not provide a towing or cargo specification for the Pure 4WD, so those figures are not stated here.
The near misses and why they fall outside the budget
Cadillac Escalade: $1,100 over the ceiling
Cadillac lists the 2026 Escalade at a starting price of $91,100. That is the closest full-size luxury SUV to the budget, and it is excluded only under a strict $90,000 starting-price rule. If your budget is flexible by a few thousand dollars, the Escalade is the natural comparison point. Cadillac states that properly equipped rear-wheel-drive models can tow up to 8,100 lb, per its 2026 model page.

Cadillac Escalade ESV: $4,100 over the ceiling
The extended-wheelbase Escalade ESV starts at $94,100 for 2026, according to the same Cadillac page. It is a full-size, longer-wheelbase variant and sits outside the budget under any reasonable reading of the title.
Lexus LX: a Canadian price for a different market
Lexus Canada’s 2025 release for the 2026 model lists a starting MSRP of C$124,050. That figure is in Canadian dollars and is not a U.S. price. Converting it to U.S. dollars would produce a number Lexus has not published for the U.S. market, so this article does not use one. If you shop in Canada, the LX is well above the budget. If you shop in the U.S., the sources do not give you a U.S. LX price to compare.
Genesis GV80 3.5T Prestige AWD: under budget, but midsize
The 2026 GV80 3.5T Prestige AWD carries a $82,330 MSRP and was tested at $84,475, according to a Tom’s Guide 2026 review. It is a three-row luxury SUV priced under the ceiling, which is why it appears in many searches for this topic. The review characterizes it as midsize, not full-size. Include it only as a clearly labeled alternative for shoppers willing to give up full-size dimensions.

Why a seven-model list is not possible yet
Seven qualifying models would require either a broader definition of the category or a wider set of prices than the current evidence supports. Each route changes the answer:
- Used and certified pre-owned vehicles. Older model years can fall well under $90,000, but the sources do not cover used pricing, condition, or mileage. A used-vehicle list would need its own price data and a stated model-year range.
- Dealer discounts. Negotiated prices vary by dealer and region. No discount data is established for these models, so no transaction-price ranking is offered.
- Midsize three-row SUVs. Several midsize luxury models could fill a list under $90,000, but they are not full-size. Mixing classes would make the list misleading unless each entry is labeled.
- Other markets. Canadian and other non-U.S. prices require their own currency, tax, and trim data.
If you want a full seven-model guide, the scope has to be set first: new U.S. base MSRP, full-size only, and a model year. Under those rules, the current evidence supports one qualifying model.

How to build your own shortlist
If you are shopping now, use the same four checks to compare any full-size luxury SUV against the budget:
- Confirm the model year and trim on the manufacturer’s U.S. site, then note the starting MSRP for that exact trim.
- Add the destination charge and the cost of any options you need, such as a third-row or towing package, to find the real out-the-door starting point.
- Check the size class in the manufacturer’s specifications or the review. A vehicle marketed as a three-row SUV is not necessarily full-size.
- Compare towing and cargo figures only for the same drivetrain and configuration. A tow rating for a rear-wheel-drive model does not apply to an all-wheel-drive version of the same nameplate.
Dealer quotes and current incentives will change the final cost, so use the MSRP as a baseline for comparing vehicles, not as your purchase price.
