Yes. Porsche delivered 45,367 all-electric Macans worldwide in fiscal 2025, compared with 38,961 combustion-engine Macans—a lead of 6,406 for the electric model. The Macan line totaled 84,328 deliveries, making it Porsche’s highest-volume model line for the year. These are global customer handovers, not U.S.-only sales or registrations. (Porsche AG)
How the Macan powertrain split changed during 2025
The electric Macan did not lead at every checkpoint. Porsche’s reported figures show the crossover had occurred by the end of the first nine months, while its year-end advantage was smaller than it had been at that checkpoint.
| Period | All-electric Macan deliveries | Combustion Macan deliveries | Electric lead |
|---|---|---|---|
| January–June 2025 | 25,884 | 19,253 | 6,631 |
| January–September 2025 | 36,250 | 28,533 | 7,717 |
| Full year 2025 | 45,367 | 38,961 | 6,406 |
Figures are Porsche AG global deliveries. First-half totals are from Porsche’s August 7, 2025 release; nine-month totals are from its October 9, 2025 release; full-year totals are from the 2025 annual report.
What “deliveries” means—and what it does not
Porsche defines deliveries as vehicles handed over to end customers and distinguishes that measure from unit sales. The figures therefore describe reported customer handovers, not a count of orders, production, or registrations. The comparison is for Porsche AG globally; it should not be presented as a U.S. powertrain sales split.

Does the U.S. data show that electric Macans outsold gas Macans?
No. Porsche Cars North America reported 27,139 Macans sold in the United States in 2025, but its release did not divide that total by powertrain. The U.S. figure cannot establish whether the electric or combustion version led there. (Porsche Cars North America, January 16, 2026)
Why geography and availability matter
The two versions were not offered on identical terms in every market. Porsche said combustion Macans continued to be offered in most countries outside the European Union. Its annual report also cited supply shortages for combustion Macan models in Europe, partly related to cybersecurity regulations. Those qualifications matter when interpreting a global delivery comparison: the final split reflects both customer handovers and the markets and supply conditions in which each version was available.

What the result does—and does not—say about demand
The full-year result establishes that more electric than combustion Macans were delivered worldwide in 2025. It does not, by itself, show that electric buyers outnumbered combustion buyers in every country, or explain why customers chose one powertrain. Availability and supply constraints are relevant context, and Porsche’s releases do not establish buyer motivations.
The interim growth figure also needs care: Porsche reported 64,783 deliveries for the entire Macan line in the first nine months, up 18% year over year. That is growth for the combined model line, not a year-over-year growth rate for the electric version alone. (Porsche Newsroom)
