Phoenix Motor’s current website describes an electric pickup as available without identifying it as the EF1-T, so that statement is not evidence that this model is for sale.
What is the EdisonFuture EF1-T?
The EF1-T is a Class 2 electric pickup concept developed by Phoenix Motor with Icona Design. Phoenix Motor’s SEC filing says Icona delivered a prototype in September 2021. The EF1-T pickup and an EF-1 V delivery-van show car were then shown publicly at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2021. Phoenix Motor’s SEC filing describes the project as a concept intended to support pickup and delivery-van variants.
The filing lists a solar roof, an interior solar mosaic and retractable solar panels integrated into the bed cover as proposed features. They should be understood as concept details, not confirmation that those features reached a production vehicle.
Is the EdisonFuture EF1-T available?
There is no confirmed EF1-T production launch, reservation program, price or retail sales channel in the cited records. The current EdisonFuture vehicle pages describe an electric pickup as “Available” and say it is in production at Phoenix Motor, but do not call it the EF1-T. The generic listing cannot establish that the EF1-T is the vehicle being offered.
What is the EdisonFuture EF1-T release date?
A January 2023 Phoenix Motor investor presentation said the company planned to bring its EdisonFuture light-duty vehicle line to market in 2025 and included the EF1-T pickup. That was a historical target, not evidence the vehicle launched in 2025 or is now on sale. The presentation does not establish a current EF1-T release date.
What are the EdisonFuture EF1-T specs?
In an October 21, 2021 announcement, EdisonFuture listed power figures for two concepts. They are company-announced figures, not independently verified production specifications.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does the EdisonFuture EF1-T really charge from solar panels?
Solar surfaces were part of the concept: the SEC filing lists a solar roof, interior solar mosaic and retractable panels on the bed cover. EdisonFuture said its solar mosaic technology was intended to harness sunlight to recharge the batteries. The cited company materials provide no independently measured solar energy yield or verified added driving range, so they do not establish how much useful charge or range the panels would provide.
