Ed Sheeran has said he has a Volvo and a Mini where he lives, and that he bought an Aston Martin DB6 for an electric conversion. In the interview where he described the DB6 project, he said it had been about five years and he still had not received it. A separate 2025 report recounts a story about his first car, an Aston Martin DB9. Those accounts offer a clearer picture than online lists presented as a definitive, up-to-date inventory.
What Ed Sheeran has personally said about his cars
In a Throwing Fits interview, Sheeran said: “I have like, I have a Volvo and a Mini that are very much where I live.” The statement supports that he had those vehicles where he lived at the time of the interview; it does not establish their models, when he acquired them, or whether he still owns them today.
Volvo and Mini
Sheeran did not identify the Volvo or Mini by model or year in the cited remarks. There is not enough information here to specify their trims, values, or other details.
Aston Martin DB6 electric-conversion project
In the same interview, Sheeran said he bought an Aston Martin DB6 and arranged to have it converted to electric power. He also said the process had taken about five years and that he was wondering whether he had been “ripped off.” His account describes a purchase and a conversion project—not a completed conversion or a car he had received and was driving.

What’s reported about his first car
A 2025 report from 24ur.com recounts Sheeran’s story about an Aston Martin DB9 as his first car, including that it stalled after he drove through deep water. This is a secondary account; it is best treated as a reported anecdote rather than as a first-person statement verified here. The account concerns an earlier car and breakdown, not evidence of current ownership.
Why online collection lists need a caveat
Collection roundups can name more vehicles than Sheeran has personally discussed in the cited interview. For example, an Auto.it article lists a Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari 812 Superfast, Audi Q7, Mercedes-AMG G63 and other vehicles. That article is secondary reporting, not a verified register of cars he owns now. Its entries should not be treated as confirmed current possessions without stronger, model-specific evidence.

What the evidence does—and doesn’t—show
The strongest available details are Sheeran’s own remarks about the Volvo, Mini and DB6 project. The DB9 story is reported by a news outlet, while the longer lists of models are media roundups. Taken together, these sources do not establish a complete car collection, a current vehicle count, or which cars Sheeran owns today.
