Sometimes—but there is no single change for every bp pulse customer. The action depends on your country and whether you use the public charging app, a UK home charger, UK fleet or workplace chargers, a buyer-funded charger, or a former Polar destination site. For example, some US app users must re-register, while UK fleet customers may need to onboard with Fuuse. Those steps are not interchangeable.
The service notices and transition dates below were checked on 13 October 2026. Confirm current instructions with the operator responsible for your account or charging site, especially if you are starting an onboarding or trying to access old records.

First identify which service is changing
“Network transfer” can refer to several separate changes, not one migration affecting every driver. A public-app account, a company’s private charging equipment and a destination site formerly listed on Polar have different operators, systems and next steps. Use the table to find the service that matches yours; do not follow instructions intended for another customer group.

If you are unsure which category fits, check what you use: the app for public charging, a charger at home, charging equipment managed by your employer, equipment you own that was hosted on a network, or a destination charger at a business or other site. A driver using a public charger is not automatically part of a fleet migration or responsible for transferring a site.

US public charging app: re-register if your account predates the change
bp pulse’s US app FAQ says customers who registered before 24 March 2026 need to re-register the first time they log in after that date. This instruction is specific to the US app guidance; it should not be treated as the rule for UK home, fleet or site-host accounts.
What to have ready
Use the phone number or email address associated with your registration. The sign-in flow uses a one-time verification code. If you no longer have access to the registered phone number or email, use the app’s current account-support route rather than trying a different customer group’s migration process.
Finding older charging records
The FAQ says the app displays recent transactions for the last 90 days. It also says sessions from before 24 March 2026 are no longer available in the app. If you need details from an earlier session, contact bp pulse support; do not assume reinstalling the app or creating a new account will restore those records.

UK fleet, depot and workplace charging: prepare for Fuuse onboarding
Fuuse was selected as the migration partner for UK depot, workplace and private-fleet charging. Fuuse’s migration instructions apply to affected private infrastructure, not to public-facing bp pulse charging units. The first step for an affected customer is to register with Fuuse to begin onboarding. During that process, review the service and pricing information and decide whether the proposed arrangements fit your operation; do not assume the new terms, billing or controls will exactly match the old setup.
Check equipment, data and settings before the change
Fuuse says compatible existing bp pulse hardware can be retained in its migration. If you choose a provider other than Fuuse, bp pulse does not support migrating the existing hardware to that provider, so expect that replacement equipment may be required. Treat hardware compatibility as a site-specific point to confirm during onboarding rather than assuming every installed unit will transfer unchanged.
Some B2B portal information will not move. Fuuse identifies charging histories and vehicle model or battery details among the data that will not transfer. If your business relies on those records for reporting, reimbursement or operational planning, preserve or export what you need from the existing system before access ends, where that facility is available. Control settings also do not automatically transfer and need assessment; document the settings your site depends on and confirm how they will be configured in the new service.

Expect new payment and billing arrangements
Payment details do not transfer directly, so customers need to enter them again with Fuuse. Fuuse will provide service and pricing information during onboarding, and billing after migration will come from Fuuse. The billing format or cadence may change. Check the actual onboarding terms and update any internal approval, accounts-payable or reconciliation process that depends on the current invoice arrangement.

Existing RFID cards should continue to function, but card permissions may need to be replicated. Check that the right employees and vehicles retain access, particularly where cards are restricted by user, site or time. Fuuse says some migration downtime is expected and its duration depends on the site. Ask for the site-specific schedule and make a temporary charging plan if your operation cannot tolerate an interruption.
For a UK public charger used as a driver, these Fuuse fleet steps do not apply simply because the charger carries the bp pulse name. Public-facing units are expressly outside the scope of Fuuse’s fleet FAQ.

UK home chargers: manual charging remains, smart app services do not
bp pulse ended UK home-charging support on 5 November 2025. The charger remains usable as a manual plug-and-charge unit, but the bp pulse home app and cloud services have ended. That means app- or cloud-dependent functions such as remote control and scheduling through those services are no longer available. Ending the service does not transfer or interrupt the household electricity supply.
How to schedule charging now
If you want charging to happen at a particular time, check whether your vehicle has its own charging schedule or whether your energy supplier provides scheduling through its app. Availability and setup depend on the vehicle and supplier; the bp pulse notice does not establish that either option will be available for every household or charger. If neither offers the controls you need, contact the relevant provider about alternatives rather than assuming the discontinued cloud service can be restored.

The home-service FAQ said customers could export charging history and account information through 31 December 2025. That deadline has passed. If you did not export your information, use bp pulse’s current data-request route instead of expecting the old portal to remain accessible.

Do not replace or open a functioning charger solely because its app support ended. bp pulse advises using a certified electrician if you remove the charger or carry out work that requires opening the unit. This is an electrical-work precaution, separate from the loss of app features.
Buyer-funded chargers: owners need another operator
bp pulse withdrew support for its buyer-funded charger network on 1 February 2026. This refers to chargers bp pulse previously sold directly to wholesalers and customers and then hosted on its network. Owners of affected equipment need to find another CPO for continued charger functionality. The notice warns that users may encounter downtime or closures during the transition.
This is an owner-side operator change, not a general instruction for everyone with a public charging app account. If you own a charger that may be in this group, confirm whether it is affected and identify a replacement operator that can support your equipment. Do not assume that an app-account re-registration will restore network support for a charger whose hosting arrangement has ended.

Roam announced on 21 January 2026 that bp pulse is retiring its original destination-based Polar network as host agreements expire. Roam was selected as the preferred and approved CPO for sites that want to continue offering charging. This does not mean every former Polar site automatically transferred or remains open under the same terms.
For an eligible host that wants to keep offering charging, the next step is to discuss the particular site and agreement with the operators. Transfer of equipment and adoption of the existing electricity supply are described as possible options, not guaranteed outcomes. For drivers, check the current operator and availability for the specific charging location before relying on it; network-wide information alone cannot confirm that an individual site is operating.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming there was one universal transfer: the US app account, UK home service, fleet infrastructure, buyer-funded equipment and former Polar sites have separate transition rules.
- Applying fleet onboarding to a public charger: Fuuse’s guidance is for UK depot, workplace and private-fleet charging, not public-facing units.
- Expecting app re-registration to restore old records: the US FAQ says pre-24 March 2026 sessions are not displayed in the app, while the UK home-service export deadline has passed.
- Assuming equipment, settings or payment details all move automatically: those items have different outcomes in the UK fleet migration; verify each during onboarding.
- Assuming a former Polar location is still available: check the current operator and status of that specific site.
These notices describe separate service changes, so the most reliable next step is to contact the organization responsible for the exact account, charger or site involved. Check its current instructions before changing payment details, arranging equipment work or planning a site transition.
