Did Travis Scott buy the Bugatti in the “GATTI” video?
According to Complex’s April 9, 2025 recap of an On Display interview, Scott said the idea of borrowing Bugattis for the video felt inauthentic, so he decided to get one. Recalling a conversation with Pop Smoke at the shoot, Scott said: “Yeah bro, I just got it like a week ago.” The account places his acquisition about a week before filming. Complex reported Scott’s account; it is not a purchase document or confirmation from Bugatti.
How much did the Bugatti reportedly cost?
TMZ reported on June 21, 2022, that Scott was seen in a Bugatti it called a “Veyron Chiron Super Sport,” and put its price at $5.5 million. Complex’s 2025 headline and deck refer to $5 million. Neither report establishes the transaction price with a purchase record, so the exact amount paid is not settled by these accounts. TMZ’s report also does not identify a primary source for its price figure.
Which Bugatti does Travis Scott own?
Complex calls the car a Bugatti Chiron, while TMZ uses the wording “Veyron Chiron Super Sport.” Because the reports do not agree and no Bugatti statement identifies Scott’s individual car, “Bugatti Chiron” is the clearest description supported by the available account; the more specific label should be treated as TMZ’s wording, not an official model identification.

Is it one of the rarest Bugattis?
TMZ said 30 examples were made, but its report does not show the basis for that production count. That makes “one of the rarest” difficult to substantiate as a ranking: the figure is a media-reported count, not a verified comparison across Bugatti models.
Bugatti’s separate Programme Solitaire releases illustrate why rarity claims need a clear category. The company described Brouillard as its first one-of-one creation under the program and reported handing it over to its owner in September 2026. Brouillard is a different car, not Scott’s Chiron. Bugatti’s announcement concerns that bespoke one-off, not the reported production run of Scott’s car.

What Bugatti publishes about the Chiron Super Sport
Bugatti lists combined WLTP fuel consumption of 21.5 l/100 km and CO₂ emissions of 487 g/km for the Chiron Super Sport model line. These are manufacturer-published figures for the model line, not measurements of Scott’s individual vehicle. Bugatti’s model information provides the figures.
