Decathlon claims up to 130 km in Eco mode, but that is a manufacturer range claim, not an independently verified test result. Its published torque figures conflict: the French listing gives both 75 Nm and 85 Nm, while the Italian and Spanish listings state 85 Nm.
What is the Stilus E-Touring Shimano?
Decathlon identifies this version as the Stilus E-Touring Shimano, reference 9015950, and describes it as a trekking or hybrid electric bike. Official product listings are available on Decathlon sites in France, Italy and Spain; those listings do not establish availability in every country. The available official material does not establish a launch date, so this article treats it as a listed model rather than a newly launched bike.

How far can it travel on a charge?
Decathlon’s French product page claims “up to 130 km in Eco mode” from the 750 Wh battery. That figure describes the manufacturer’s stated upper range in a particular assistance mode; the official listings supplied here do not provide an independent range test or enough test conditions to treat 130 km as a likely, guaranteed distance for every rider.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why the motor torque figure is uncertain
The published torque information is internally inconsistent. Decathlon France’s highlights say 85 Nm, but its specifications table says 75 Nm. The Italian and Spanish listings state 85 Nm in descriptive copy. These are official retailer pages, but they do not resolve whether the difference reflects a listing error, market variation or a model revision. Ask Decathlon to confirm the torque for reference 9015950 in the country and version you are considering rather than relying on a single figure.
Assembly, braking and everyday use
Decathlon’s model-specific German support page covers assembly, conformity information, parts, first setup, battery care, maintenance and repair. It says a bike bought or delivered to a Decathlon store is handed over assembled; home delivery requires the customer to attach some components using the assembly guide. Check the instructions supplied with your bike and arrange qualified help if you are unsure about assembly or safety-critical adjustments.
Bed in new brakes before normal riding
Decathlon’s German support page recommends about 10 braking cycles per brake to bed in new pads and discs. It describes each cycle as slowing firmly from 25 to 5 km/h without locking the wheel, using one brake at a time. Follow the complete model-specific instructions and choose a clear, safe area; do not perform the procedure in traffic.

Decathlon says the bike can still be pedaled with assistance switched off, though the added weight of the motor and battery is noticeable.
Quick Recap
What to verify before buying
- Confirm the torque figure and the exact specification for your country, frame size and model revision.
- Check local stock, current price, included equipment and delivery or assembly arrangements directly with the relevant Decathlon country site; listings and availability can change.
- If replacing a tire, confirm the precise Schwalbe Johnny Watts version, wheel and tire dimensions, and frame clearance before ordering. The Italian listing names a 29 x 2.35 tire, but the exact replacement version has not been established here.
