The Compass Rose Ciulator is a neo-retro electric motorcycle whose track trim is advertised with a 150 mph (240 km/h) top speed. That is a manufacturer-reported specification, not a speed independently verified in the available coverage. Its standard trim is listed at a lower 93 mph (150 km/h), and the practical details buyers may want—such as current export availability and road-approval status—are not established by the sources cited here.
What is the Compass Rose Ciulator?
The Ciulator is a South Korean electric motorcycle from Compass Rose, styled as a modern take on a 1950s British café racer. New Atlas describes its design as neo-retro, pairing the period-inspired silhouette with contemporary materials and an electric powertrain. The company’s name for the model was reportedly based on the phrase “I’ll go into the cafe first – see you later”; no individual speaker is identified in that account. New Atlas reported the model on January 15, 2026.
Reported construction and weight
New Atlas lists a frame made with Reynolds 953 steel tubing, full carbon-fiber bodywork and a Cordovan leather saddle sourced from Argentina. It reports a total weight of 308 lb (140 kg). Autoweek’s January 7, 2026 CES roundup also mentions the Reynolds 953 frame and Argentinian leather. These are published product specifications, not the result of an independent inspection. Autoweek’s CES report also notes that Compass Rose was seeking U.S. distributors at that time.
How fast is the Ciulator?
The 150 mph (240 km/h) figure applies to the track trim. New Atlas reports that Compass Rose specifies a 34 hp BLDC in-wheel hub motor, peak torque of 258 lb-ft (350 Nm), and a 72 V/150 Ah Samsung battery for that version. Autoweek also repeats the company’s almost-150-mph claim. Neither publication describes an independent top-speed test, so the figure should be read as an advertised specification rather than a verified result.

How far can the Ciulator go on a charge?
New Atlas reports around 93 miles (150 km) of range for the track trim and around 80 miles (130 km) for the standard trim. The figures are stated ranges in the publication’s account of Compass Rose’s specifications. The cited coverage does not provide a test method, riding conditions or an independent range measurement, so it does not establish what a rider should expect in particular use.
How much does the Ciulator cost?
Compass Rose’s official models catalogue listed Ciulator color variants at KRW 60,000,000 when accessed on October 7, 2026. The page does not establish whether the motorcycle can currently be exported. Check Compass Rose’s official models catalogue for the listing, which may change.

That listing differs from earlier coverage: New Atlas reported KRW 66,000,000, approximately US$50,000 by direct conversion, on January 15, 2026. The same article said sales were then limited to South Korea. Autoweek’s January 7 CES roundup also gave an approximate US$50,000 price and said Compass Rose was seeking U.S. distributors. Those are dated reports, not confirmation of the current price or availability in either market.
What buyers still need to confirm
The cited sources do not establish current export availability, road registration or homologation status. They also do not document independent testing of the headline speed or the stated range. A prospective buyer should therefore confirm those points directly with Compass Rose for the intended country and specific trim; the published specifications alone do not answer them.

Is the Ciulator the same as the Compass Rose Dandelion?
No. The Dandelion is a separate Compass Rose model, described by New Atlas as a more affordable retro-futuristic motorcycle. The official catalogue accessed October 7, 2026 listed Dandelion variants at KRW 9,400,000. That price and model description do not apply to the Ciulator, whose catalogue price was listed separately at KRW 60,000,000.

The Ciulator’s 150 mph headline belongs to its track trim and is supported here as a reported Compass Rose specification, not as an independently measured performance result. The standard trim is listed at 93 mph, while both versions have published range figures without a stated test method. The design and materials give the Ciulator a distinctive proposition, but current market access and road legality remain unconfirmed in the cited sources.
