The Casio Edifice EFS-560HR-1A is a solar-powered chronograph with Honda Racing details, a sapphire crystal and a 100-meter water-resistance rating. Casio’s specifications make it a distinctive motorsport-themed watch on paper, but they do not establish how it wears or performs in everyday use. Confirm the reference number before comparing it with other Honda Racing Edifice watches.
Which Honda Racing Edifice is this?
The best-supported match for the name “Casio Edifice Honda Racing Limited Edition” is the EFS-560HR-1A, listed by Casio Singapore as “EDIFICE Honda Racing Limited Edition.” The Japanese-market reference is EFS-560HR-1AJR. The collaboration name is not unique: Casio has also released Honda Racing Edifice models such as the EQS-930HR and ECB-S100HR. Design: racing cues with a distinctive band
Casio describes the EFS-560HR-1A dial as finished to evoke racing asphalt, with red accents inspired by track curbs. The bezel incorporates a carbon plate, while the band has a CORDURA fabric surface and Kevlar fiber inserts. Honda Racing branding appears on the dial and band; Casio says the Honda logo is engraved on the case back. What the specifications mean in practice
Solar power and stated run time
Solar charging means the watch is designed to recharge from light rather than relying solely on a conventional disposable-battery replacement cycle. Casio lists approximately six months of operation after a full charge until the hands stop. That figure is a stated specification; actual battery performance has not been independently established here.
Chronograph capacity
The stopwatch measures in one-second increments and has a maximum measurement capacity of 29 minutes and 59 seconds. It offers elapsed-time and first/second-place modes, so the listed timing function is aimed at short intervals rather than a continuously measured hour-long event.

Water resistance
Casio rates the watch to 100 meters. This is the manufacturer’s rating, not a claim of real-world water testing for this specific unit. Follow the watch’s manual and care guidance for operating buttons and using it around water.
Launch price and current buying considerations
Casio announced the EFS-560HR on September 29, 2020, describing it at the time as the fourth EDIFICE–Honda Racing collaboration. Casio Japan records October 2020 for the EFS-560HR-1AJR and a suggested retail price of ¥46,200 including Japanese tax. This is historical Japan-market launch context, not a current street price or a price that applies to other regions. Casio Japan product listing and Casio’s September 29, 2020 announcement.

Casio Singapore labels its listing old. Current stock, resale pricing and individual seller conditions are not established. If buying from a current listing, verify the full reference number, condition, included packaging, seller terms and local warranty. The original band is a defining part of the design; third-party replacement-band compatibility has not been confirmed, so check fit before purchasing a substitute.
How it differs from other Honda Racing Edifice watches
Honda Racing branding alone is not enough to identify a watch or transfer specifications between models. The EFS-560HR-1A is the solar chronograph described above; later collaborations have different inspiration or functions.

Review verdict
The EFS-560HR-1A’s appeal is its specific blend of Honda Racing styling and practical listed features: solar charging, sapphire crystal, a 100-meter water-resistance rating and a short-duration stopwatch. Its asphalt-inspired dial and fabric-surfaced, fiber-reinforced band give it a more recognizable motorsport identity than a collaboration that relies only on a logo. However, Casio’s specifications and design descriptions do not answer questions about comfort, actual runtime, durability or real-world water performance; no hands-on wear test is established here.
