Carey Hart appeared at Indian Motorcycle Perth in Kenwick on March 2, 2024, where fans gathered for autographs, photos and a chance to meet the former professional motocross competitor. He arrived on a bright red Indian Challenger during Pink’s Perth concert weekend.
What happened at the Perth dealership
Hart visited Indian Motorcycle Perth in Kenwick on Saturday, March 2, ahead of Pink’s second Perth show that weekend. The event report says he arrived at about 11 a.m. on a bright red Indian Challenger, greeted dealership staff and signed autographs as the queue continued. Fans also hoped to take photographs and meet him.
Hart described the visit as an opportunity to meet local riders while he was in Australia with his family: “I’m here for a couple of months with the missus and the family and it’s just a great opportunity to pop into some dealerships to meet the people.” He added, “Hopefully we’re going to do a bit of riding today… It’s a beautiful country and I love the West Coast.” ChroniclesLive reported his remarks and the event.
What was planned for fans
Before the appearance, PerthNow reported Hart’s Instagram announcement that he planned to sign posters and talk motorcycles from noon to 1 p.m., then go for a group ride. The advance notice invited fans to meet him, seek autographs and take photos. That schedule was the advertised plan; the event report separately documents his arrival and interactions with fans.

PerthNow’s February 28, 2024 report reproduced Hart’s announcement: “Let’s do this, Perth!!!!!!!!! This Saturday @indianmotorcycleaustralia Perth, I’ll be signing posters and talking motorcycles from noon-1pm! Then we will jump on bikes and go out for a ride. 🤘🏼. Come hang!!!!”
The motorcycle and the people who came to meet him
The event account identifies Hart’s arrival bike as an Indian Challenger. Indian Motorcycle Perth currently lists Challenger among its models, but that does not establish the specific configuration of the motorcycle Hart rode. The event report also describes motocross enthusiasts Justin and Leah hoping to add Hart’s signature to a vintage shirt already signed by motocross figures. Justin said one signature dated to 2003. It identifies Hemi Sellenger as 14 and ranked fourth in Western Australia’s junior motorcycling state championship at the time of the article. These were details in the contemporaneous account, not attendance figures or a broader measure of the event.
Indian Motorcycle Perth general manager Martin Justat said Hart had “plenty of fans among the Indian motorcycle riders,” adding, “We’re just happy to have another rider come along with us for the ride.”

A one-day appearance, not a recurring event
The available event coverage documents this specific March 2, 2024 appearance. It does not establish that Hart’s visit was a charity event or that the dealership hosts an annual meet-and-greet. Indian Motorcycle’s Carey Hart and Good Ride page describes a separate partnership and says rally proceeds support veterans; it is background about Hart, not evidence that the Perth visit raised funds.
