Do not mistake a mahogany boat plan for a car plan
Glen-L’s Key Largo is a 19- or 20-foot mahogany sport-utility runabout, built using cold-molded, epoxy-planked boatbuilding methods. It is a boat project, not a road-car design. Its plans and construction approach do not establish how to build or certify a car body.
What wooden sports-car models are documented?
These are the two identified small-scale alternatives. Neither is documented as a full-size vehicle solution, and neither source establishes that its model is made from mahogany.

If you want to make a model from a plan

Its listed tools point to a small woodworking project, but the page’s sold-out status means availability should be checked before planning around it. If you want a ready-to-assemble model kit

Which project should you choose?
- For a compact woodworking project: look for a currently available scale-model plan and confirm its dimensions, required tools and specified wood before buying.
