Check cargo with the rows you will actually use
Compare luggage space with the third row raised, not just the vehicle’s maximum cargo capacity with seats folded. Cadillac’s 137.4-cubic-foot figure combines space behind the first row with the eTrunk; it is not a measure of luggage room behind the third row. Also check overall dimensions against your garage, parking space, and usual routes.
How do the published range figures compare?
Hyundai’s figures are EPA estimates and vary by IONIQ 9 trim. Cadillac’s 460-mile figure is the automaker’s own estimate. They are different kinds of claims, so do not treat them as a like-for-like range test. The R1S figure of up to 410 miles applies to some 2025 configurations and is historical information, not a current-model comparison.
