For an LMM that still has its emissions system, the cited package offers towing, street, and sport calibrations—but its advertised power figures are seller claims, not independently verified results.
Does this LMM tuner work with a DPF-delete truck?
No. DuramaxTuner lists its 2007.5–2010 LMM emissions-intact EFI Live tuning for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD trucks, and says the tuning does not work with trucks that have had emissions equipment deleted. The seller’s separate 50-state-compliant listing for the same model years likewise says the equipment must remain installed and the tune will not work on a deleted truck.
That means there is no supported recommendation here for a DPF-delete tuner. Do not buy this package expecting it to run a deleted configuration; confirm the truck’s emissions equipment and exact calibration compatibility with the seller before ordering.
What the emissions-intact package offers
For a truck retaining its emissions equipment, the vendor lists four ECM calibration choices. The horsepower and torque increases below are the seller’s advertised figures; no independent or controlled testing of those gains is established here.

The listing also offers switch-on-the-fly configurations. It identifies stock or stock-replacement injectors as the supported configuration and says transmission (TCM) tuning is sold separately. The page lists EFI Live SPADE AutoCal as an option; the exact standalone device listing and whether a separately sold device includes the correct LMM calibration were not verified.
How to choose if your LMM is emissions-intact
- Match the application: The listed fit is 2007.5–2010 GM 6.6L LMM Duramax. Verify the truck’s year, engine, controller, and configuration with the seller.
- Choose by duty: The vendor labels its options heavy-tow, light-tow, street, and sport. Those labels describe intended use, not independently measured improvements in reliability, drivability, or fuel economy.
- Check switching needs: If you want to change calibrations while using the truck, ask which switch-on-the-fly setup and hardware are included in the package you are buying.
- Confirm transmission requirements: TCM tuning is listed separately. Verify whether it is appropriate for your transmission and intended use rather than assuming it is included with ECM tuning.
- Verify injectors and package contents: The listing specifies stock or stock-replacement injectors. Confirm any other engine or transmission modifications are supported and get the full included-hardware and calibration details in writing.
- Check certification documentation: The vendor’s second listing calls its version 50-state compliant and California legal and says it includes a CARB EO sticker. Those are vendor claims; the EO number and current applicability were not independently confirmed. Request the documentation and confirm it applies to your exact truck and configuration.
What the emissions rules mean for a deleted truck
Federal law prohibits parts that defeat or bypass vehicle emission controls. In a 2013 enforcement action, the EPA reported that Edge Products agreed to a $500,000 civil penalty after manufacturing and selling devices that allowed trucks to run after the DPF had been removed. The EPA described DPFs as collecting and burning soot, with the vehicle computer monitoring proper DPF operation. This is a historical enforcement example, not individualized legal advice.

No fuel-economy improvement is established for this package. The vendor lists power gains and calibration choices, but the available evidence does not provide controlled before-and-after fuel-consumption results. Actual economy can vary with load, route, driving style, vehicle condition, and calibration; do not rely on an advertised horsepower figure as proof of better mileage.
