Put the TX near the top of your list if your first requirement is a Lexus with three rows. Lexus’s 2023 announcement for the 2024 GX lists 349 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Towing capacity is grade-specific: Lexus lists up to 9,063 pounds for Premium and Premium+, and up to 9,096 pounds for Overtrail with the standard tow hitch. Do not assume the highest figure applies to every GX or every hitch setup.
Seating also depends on grade and configuration. Lexus says Premium, Premium+, Luxury and Luxury+ can seat up to seven; selected grades offer either second-row captain’s chairs or a 60:40 bench.
