The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is the clearest choice here for outright claimed on-road speed: Porsche lists 650 hp, 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a 189 mph top track speed. The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid trades some of that pace for plug-in-hybrid operation and higher combined output, while the Lamborghini Urus SE is a high-output hybrid rival whose current specifications cannot be confirmed as 2024 U.S. model-year figures.
How these performance SUVs compare
The figures below come from the manufacturers, not independent instrumented tests. They also use different acceleration and speed labels: Porsche reports 0–60 mph and “top track speed,” while Lamborghini reports 0–100 km/h and “top speed.” Treat them as each maker’s published specifications, not as a controlled head-to-head result.

Porsche’s prices are historical U.S. launch MSRPs announced in 2023 for the 2024 models, not current transaction prices. Lamborghini’s current Urus SE page, accessed in October 2026, does not establish the listed specifications as a 2024 U.S. model-year configuration.
Which SUV is fastest?
Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT: the on-road speed pick
Porsche described the 2024 Cayenne Turbo GT as the top model in the U.S. Cayenne range and “designed for maximum on-road performance.” Its manufacturer-stated 3.1-second 0–60 mph time and 189 mph top track speed are the strongest directly comparable speed case in this shortlist. The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 produces 650 hp, 19 hp more than the prior output cited in Porsche’s announcement.

The Turbo GT is offered exclusively as a Coupe. Porsche highlighted Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, rear-axle steering, a Sport Exhaust system and 22-inch GT Design wheels with ultra-high-performance tires as standard equipment in its 2024 announcement.
Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid: near-Turbo-GT pace with plug-in operation
The Turbo E-Hybrid’s 0–60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and 183 mph top track speed are Porsche claims. Its 729 hp and 700 lb-ft are system output, combining a 591 hp twin-turbo V8 with a 174 hp electric motor; do not interpret the separate engine and motor ratings as standalone figures to add in place of Porsche’s stated system output.

Announced in SUV and Coupe body styles, it pairs that performance with a 25.9 kWh high-voltage battery and 11 kW onboard charger. Porsche says charging can take less than 2.5 hours using a suitable wallbox or charger. The 2024 announcement lists adaptive air suspension with two-chamber/two-valve technology and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus as included; Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control and rear-axle steering are optional.
Lamborghini Urus SE: a fast hybrid, with a model-year caveat
Lamborghini’s current model page identifies the Urus SE as the brand’s first plug-in-hybrid Super SUV and lists 800 CV, 0–100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a 312 km/h top speed. It also lists combined economy of 20 MPG on gasoline and 48 MPGe on electricity and gasoline. Those are the specifications currently presented by Lamborghini, not verified 2024 U.S. figures; the page does not provide a model-year-specific 2024 U.S. sheet.

Which one fits your priorities?
- Choose the Cayenne Turbo GT for the strongest published on-road speed case. It has the quickest Porsche-stated 0–60 mph time and highest top track speed among these Porsche options, but it is Coupe-only and has the highest historical launch MSRP in this comparison.
- Consider the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid if plug-in operation matters. It offers SUV and Coupe body styles, high system output, and a battery-and-charger setup. Its acceleration and top track speed claims are slightly lower than the Turbo GT’s.
- Consider the Urus SE if you want Lamborghini’s plug-in hybrid offering. Its current published figures are substantial, but confirm the model year and local-market specification before treating them as a 2024 U.S. comparison.
What the 2024 Cayenne Turbo GT specifications mean for ownership
Porsche’s 2024 technical sheet lists a 5,055 lb curb weight, 23.78 cubic feet of cargo volume, and 52.47 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. Its staggered tire sizes are 285/40 R22 at the front and 315/35 R22 at the rear. If replacing tires, verify the exact vehicle fitment along with the required load and speed ratings; these sizes are specific to the listed configuration, not a general recommendation for every Cayenne.
