Options include vehicle-specific center-console upgrades, replacement armrests for selected factory seats, and specialty units for enclosed consoles. Their adjustments differ: some change height or reach, while others fold or allow height adjustment only during installation.
Start with fitment, not the feature list
Before comparing padding or storage, check the armrest against your vehicle’s make, model, model year, seat configuration, mounting point and, where relevant, driver-side orientation. A center-console armrest, a replacement attached at a factory seat fastening point and a side-mount unit for an enclosed console are different products; one type is not automatically a substitute for another.
Confirm that the exact fitment listing covers your vehicle and read its installation instructions. Check whether the seat can travel through its full range and whether the armrest interferes with the console, shifter, parking brake, seat-back controls, console lid or passenger access. If the mounting area is near a seat-mounted side airbag, do not adapt a product that its fitment documentation excludes; follow the vehicle and product instructions, and ask a qualified installer if needed.
What “adjustable” means on these products
- Height adjustment: The pad moves up or down for a different resting height.
- Fore-and-aft adjustment: The pad moves forward or backward to change reach.
- Installation-time height adjustment: The installer sets a height when mounting; it may not be a quick adjustment while driving.
- Folding: The armrest swings out of the way. Folding alone does not mean its height or reach adjusts.
Compare the actual direction and stated range of movement, not just the word “adjustable.” Also check usable pad width and material, mounting hardware, installation demands, clearance, storage and warranty where those details are published.

Vehicle-specific center-console upgrades
RATI Armster 3
Ratistore describes the Armster 3 as a center-console armrest supplied with a vehicle-specific adapter. Its listing specifies stepless height adjustment, 4.5 cm of length adjustment, soft padding and a fold-up position of 90 degrees between the seats. It also lists enclosed storage, pen and coin holders, a noise-reducing insert and a dampened opening-and-closing mechanism. Ratistore states a three-year warranty and says the mounting kit and installation instructions are included. The product page says its design accounts for seat, steering-wheel and gearbox positions. These are seller or manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. See Ratistore’s Armster 3 listing.
The listing’s features are relevant only if the adapter is offered for your exact vehicle. Check that application before ordering; the available information does not establish one universal fit. Ratistore also lists a 50 kg loadability figure, which should be treated as the seller’s stated specification rather than an independently tested comparison.

Armster International for Suzuki Baleno
Armster International lists a vehicle-specific adjustable center armrest for the Suzuki Baleno from model year 2016 onward. The page says the package includes a mounting adapter, screws and fitting instructions, offers left- and right-hand-drive versions, and carries a three-year warranty. It lists a price range of €71.95–€102.95 on the page accessed in 2026; price and availability can change. This is a Baleno-specific example, not evidence that the product fits other cars. Replacement armrests for factory seats
GM part 85007571
GM Parts identifies part 85007571 as a Jet Black front-seat center armrest and an OE, specific-fit part. Its displayed fitment table includes Silverado 1500 model years 2019–2026, Silverado 1500 LTD 2022, Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD model years 2020–2026, and Suburban model years 2021–2026. The page instructs buyers to verify vehicle fit and says mounting hardware is not included. It lists a 24-month/unlimited-mile limited parts warranty and displayed an MSRP of $482.19 when accessed in 2026; confirm current price and fitment on the seller’s page. This is an OEM replacement option, not a general-purpose aftermarket upgrade. Verify fitment and details with GM Parts.

Comfort X-Change with MLC310
Comfort describes X-Change as a replacement for a factory-installed armrest, using its MLC310 wide armrest console. The manufacturer says installation uses the existing fastening point, instructions are included, and the armrest is adjustable and foldable. Installation varies by vehicle and armrest selection, so consult the instructions for the exact application rather than assuming the same procedure or features apply to every fitment. Comfort’s adapter-list PDF, published May 13, 2022, records application-specific restrictions worth checking against current documentation. It notes that some center-side seat airbags prevent mounting; some MLC310 fitments require approximately 135 mm or more between seats; and some vehicles may have console collisions or restricted seat movement. Certain installations require drilled fastening points or special tools, and some seats with existing armrests or a high center console are incompatible. Specialty armrest for enclosed consoles
Havis C-ARM-102
The Havis C-ARM-102 is a side-mount armrest for enclosed consoles, with Havis recommending it for C-VS Series consoles. Its height is adjustable at installation from 1.25 to 5 inches, measured from the console top to the pad top. Havis specifies a molded rubber pad measuring 9.5 by 2.75 inches. This is specialty equipment for an enclosed-console application, not a like-for-like passenger-car center armrest. Check these details before buying
- Match the exact application. Confirm make, model, year, seat and console configuration, mounting location and driver-side orientation where applicable. Do not rely on a product’s general appearance or a listing for a neighboring model year.
- Identify the movement you need. Decide whether you need height adjustment, forward reach, an installation-set height or simply a folding pad. Look for a stated adjustment range when available.
- Check clearance and safety restrictions. Confirm seat travel and access to controls, console and passenger space. Read any warnings about airbags, existing armrests, console interference or seat movement; do not improvise around an incompatibility.
- Confirm what comes in the box. An adapter, screws, mounting kit, hardware and instructions are not interchangeable assumptions. The cited GM replacement, for example, does not include mounting hardware.
- Understand installation requirements. Check whether the product uses an existing fastening point or needs drilling, special tools or a particular mount. Follow the instructions for the exact vehicle and seek a qualified installer when the fit or safety implications are unclear.
- Compare the useful support area. Consider pad width, surface and padding alongside reach and height. A narrow or poorly positioned pad may not provide the resting area you want, even if it folds or adjusts.
- Verify warranty and current terms. Warranty, price and fitment availability are product- and seller-specific and may change; confirm them on the current listing before ordering.
