BENDA says first European markets are expected to introduce it from late November 2026, although France still lists the release date as to be determined.
What makes the Dark Flag 950 unusual?
Its headline feature is the engine layout: BENDA describes a 948 cc, liquid-cooled, 16-valve V4 in a cruiser, rather than the V-twin configuration common in the class. That architecture and the output figures below are manufacturer claims, not independent performance findings. BENDA says the model is due to be shown at EICMA in November 2026. BENDA Europe’s announcement and a 5 October 2026 Visordown report describe a launch-stage motorcycle, not a road-tested one.
How much power and torque does it make?
Official regional pages agree on power but not torque. BENDA Europe gives 80 kW (108.77 PS) at 9,000 rpm and 85 Nm at 8,000 rpm; Germany rounds the power to 109 PS and also lists 85 Nm at 8,000 rpm. France lists 108.7 ch (80 kW) and 90 Nm at 7,000 rpm. These are market-page specifications; the available information does not establish whether the torque difference reflects a regional variant or a page discrepancy.

What equipment and dimensions are listed?
BENDA France publishes the following specification and equipment list. It is a manufacturer listing, not an independent assessment of operation:
- Six-speed gearbox, belt final drive and anti-dribble clutch.
- Steel cradle frame, 41 mm inverted front fork and twin hydraulic rear shocks.
- Twin 320 mm front discs with radial Brembo M4.32 calipers and a 260 mm rear disc.
- Dual-channel ABS and traction control, each listed as switchable.
- Ride-by-wire, cruise control, idle cylinder shutdown and TFT instrumentation.
- 130/90–16 front and 180/65–16 rear tires; verify the full specification and model-year fitment when replacing tires.
- Overall dimensions of 2,330 × 910 × 1,100 mm, 1,590 mm wheelbase, 690 mm seat height, 150 mm ground clearance, 242 kg running weight and a 16 L fuel tank.
The low 690 mm seat and 242 kg running-weight figures frame two practical considerations: seat reach and moving the motorcycle at a standstill. They do not establish how manageable it feels to a particular rider; that depends on fit and a test ride.

Equipment details are not completely consistent across regional pages. France lists USB-C output at 25 W and a display peak brightness of 1,000 lux; Canada describes USB and USB-C and an 800-nit display. These are regional-page descriptions, not a guarantee of identical equipment in every market. The Canadian page also describes E-Mark/EU5+ homologation; that does not establish approval or sale in every jurisdiction. BENDA Canada’s page additionally lists 242 kg, 690 mm, a 16 L tank, 5.6 L/100 km and 85 Nm at 8,000 rpm.
What are its claimed consumption, range and top speed?
BENDA France publishes mixed consumption of 5.6 L/100 km, a claimed range of over 280 km and an announced maximum speed over 180 km/h. These are manufacturer figures, not results from an independent road or fuel-economy test. Actual range will depend on riding conditions and consumption; the published figures should not be treated as a tested result.

When will it be available?
BENDA Europe’s 2 October 2026 announcement says the motorcycle will be introduced in the first European markets starting at the end of November 2026. That wording does not set a delivery date for all of Europe. France’s product page still says “Date de sortie : tbd,” so availability remains market-specific and unsettled. Ask a local dealer for confirmed order and delivery timing.
How much does the Benda Dark Flag 950 cost?
The published prices are country-specific and include different additional-cost treatment; they should not be read as one Europe-wide price.

Warranty terms also differ on the regional pages: Germany lists three years with the possibility of a two-year extension, while France states two years. Confirm the terms and any extension conditions with the selling dealer before purchase.

The announced specifications establish the V4 layout, claimed output, dimensions and listed equipment, but they do not establish real-world acceleration, comfort, handling, reliability or fuel consumption. No independent road-test findings are available in the cited launch material. Buyers should treat those questions as unanswered until a suitable local-market bike can be ridden and evaluated.
