Avvenire describes the Tectus as an enclosed electric mobility scooter with air conditioning and a heater. Its current product page lists multiple configurations, prices from $8,995 to $34,995, and a range claim of up to 99 miles. The page is marked “Page Under Construction,” however, and its delivery language does not establish that the scooter is in stock or guarantee a delivery date.
What is the Avvenire Tectus?
The Tectus is presented by Avvenire as a fully enclosed, all-weather electric mobility scooter rather than a conventional open scooter. The cabin is intended to shield its occupants from outdoor elements such as rain and snow. Avvenire’s current listing also describes a front-opening cabin, safety lighting and rear storage. These are manufacturer descriptions; no independent vehicle test or verified road-performance results are established.

Avvenire’s February 7, 2024 launch announcement described the Tectus as a dual-motor all-wheel-drive vehicle and promoted features including an enclosed cabin, air conditioning, a heater, backup camera, GPS tracking, cargo options and optional wireless charging. Treat those as claims made at launch, not proof that every item is included on every currently listed version.
Is the Tectus air-conditioned?
Yes, Avvenire lists air conditioning on both of its current Deluxe feature lists, along with a heater. The $8,999 Deluxe listing also includes an air filter; the $8,995 listing does not name one. The product page does not clearly explain the difference between the two Deluxe prices, so buyers should confirm the exact configuration and included equipment with Avvenire.

The listing does not establish test conditions for the speed or range figures, and the advertised range should not be read as a real-world measured range.
How current prices and claims differ from the 2024 launch
Avvenire’s February 7, 2024 launch announcement said Tectus versions would start at $6,495 and advertised a lithium-battery range of up to 180 km (110 miles). The current product page instead starts at $8,995 and lists a maximum range of 160 km (99 miles). These are claims from different dates and sources; the launch announcement’s figures are historical, not the current listing.

The current product page also says “Page Under Construction.” It presents reservation or order actions and says a $5,000 deposit is refundable if Avvenire cannot deliver in 2027. That condition is not confirmation of current inventory, production status or a guaranteed delivery date. Before paying, ask Avvenire to confirm the selected trim, deposit and refund terms, total delivered price, and estimated delivery date.

Avvenire’s FAQ still refers to a product rollout “until 2025.” That timetable has passed and does not resolve present availability. The separate catalog entry for “Tectus Scope 2026” is categorized as Off-Road and has different specifications and prices; it is not the enclosed Tectus covered here.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where can the Tectus be used?
Avvenire’s FAQ says the Tectus may be used on sidewalks or on roads where no sidewalk is present, and makes broad statements about federal rules in “most countries.” Those statements are not a jurisdiction-specific legal determination. Rules for mobility devices can vary by location and may affect where the vehicle can be driven, as well as licensing, registration and insurance requirements. Check with local authorities before using it on sidewalks or roads.
The same FAQ says only the Spiritus is configured to take a second passenger, implying other models are single-occupancy according to Avvenire. Confirm the current Tectus configuration and local passenger rules rather than assuming it can carry another person.
