A Nissan dealer in Scottsdale, Arizona, has created a NISMO-inspired package for the 2026 Sentra SR called the SE RS, or Special Edition Rally Sport. The reported completed car adds wheels, exhaust, coilovers and cosmetic details—but keeps the SR’s 149-hp engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT). It is a dealer build, not a factory Sentra NISMO.
What is the Sentra SE RS?
The SE RS is a dealer-installed package from Pinnacle Nissan in Scottsdale, built around the 2026 Sentra SR. Nissan has not presented it as a factory trim or a factory-developed Sentra NISMO. The idea is associated with Pinnacle salesperson and Nissan enthusiast Nick Raymond Scherr, known as “NISMO Nick.” In January 2026, Scherr told The Drive that he hears what customers want that may not be available from the factory.
Reported package components
- NISMO LM-RS6 wheels; Pinnacle’s listing specifies 18-by-8.5-inch wheels.
- A NISMO cat-back exhaust.
- Adjustable coilover suspension.
- Exterior graphics, a custom grille and chrome delete.
- Custom interior details and badging.
The component list comes from January and February 2026 coverage and Pinnacle’s listing. Before purchasing individual parts, confirm dimensions, offset and fitment for the exact vehicle; the listing does not establish that every part fits every 2026 Sentra trim.
Does the SE RS have a turbo or manual transmission?
No—not in the completed SE RS described by Autoblog’s February 3, 2026 report. That car retains the standard 2026 Sentra SR powertrain: a 149-hp 2.0-liter engine and CVT, also listed on Pinnacle Nissan’s showroom page.

The turbocharged, six-speed-manual Sentra discussed in January coverage is a separate planned project, not a feature of the SE RS package. The Drive and Autoblog described it as a future build; the cited reports do not establish that it was completed or provide final specifications.
How it differs from the factory Sentra NISMO
Nissan did sell a factory Sentra NISMO for the 2017 model year. Nissan’s 2017 press kit describes a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, a six-speed manual option and distinct chassis and suspension tuning. That historical factory model is separate from Pinnacle’s SR-based SE RS: the latter is a dealer package whose reported completed example keeps the current SR’s engine and CVT.

What did the package cost, and is one available now?
The published figures are dated, and they do not amount to a current quote:
| Source and date | Reported figure | What it describes |
|---|---|---|
| The Drive, January 20, 2026 | $6,995 | Reported package charge; the article also gave $25,000 as the SR base price at that time. |
| Autoblog, February 3, 2026 | $6,995 for modifications; $25,000 for the SR | Reported package and base-vehicle figures at the time. |
| Pinnacle Nissan inventory listing, indexed in 2026 | $36,230 vehicle price; $1,097 in dealer-added optional accessories; $500 cash rebate | A specific custom Sentra listing. The page was indexed months before this article and its figures do not reconcile with the news reports’ package charge. |
These figures may refer to different configurations or pricing components; they should not be combined into an assumed total. Pinnacle’s showroom page lists the 2026 Sentra SR at a $25,000 MSRP, but does not confirm current SE RS stock. The inventory page warns that vehicles may be sold and asks shoppers to verify listing details. Contact the dealer for current availability and an itemized out-the-door quote.
