How the 2024 winners were chosen
The awards season runs annually from May 1 through April 30. The 2024 results were announced on March 27 at the New York International Auto Show, as recorded in the official award timeline.
According to Kia’s official announcement of its double win, the jury comprised 100 international automotive journalists from 29 countries. Jurors voted by secret ballot, drawing on their professional evaluation of eligible vehicles, and KPMG tabulated the results.
