AEV says the suspension and body clearance are designed around the 40-inch tire package. How the FXL differs from Ford’s factory off-road options
Ford’s announced 2027 Super Duty changes include Tremor availability on XL with the STX Appearance Package, Tremor on Crew Cab configurations with an 8-foot bed, and a new XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package. Ford says that XL package includes a factory ride-height increase, differentials, performance shocks, trail modes, skid plates and a matching spare. Ford’s article also describes a 48-gallon tank on the long-box Tremor configuration. These are Ford factory details, not FXL equipment. Ford Pro’s 2027 Super Duty announcement says the trucks would be available to order in May; check with Ford for current ordering timing.

The packages are not direct equivalents: they differ in tire size, included equipment, configuration and purchase route. Ford’s separate product page lists Tremor, FX4 and XL Off-Road equipment, but its labeling describes a 2026 truck while its URL contains a 2024 segment, so those details should not be assumed to apply across model years.
