1. Which 2024 Prologue trims have AWD?
For the U.S. 2024 model year, EX and Touring were offered with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD); Elite was AWD only. Honda listed an 85-kWh battery across the model year and different power figures by drivetrain.

Range and MPGe figures are EPA ratings for the U.S. 2024 Prologue, not promises of how far a particular trip will go. Actual range can differ with weather, speed, terrain, driving style, vehicle condition and other factors. Honda’s published specifications list a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 lb; consult the owner’s manual for limitations before towing. 2. How much range does a 2024 Honda Prologue have?
Among the 2024 configurations, FWD EX and Touring have the highest published EPA range at 296 miles. AWD EX and Touring are rated at 281 miles, while AWD Elite is rated at 273 miles. The trade-off is that Honda lists greater power output for AWD than FWD. These are model-year-specific figures: do not apply them to a 2025 or 2026 Prologue, whose published ratings differ.

Use the rating to compare configurations, not as a trip-planning guarantee. Cold or hot conditions, highway speeds, elevation changes, load and battery condition can affect the range available on a given drive. Leave a practical buffer for charging stops rather than planning to arrive with the battery nearly depleted.

For regular home charging, Honda describes 240-volt Level 2 equipment. Its 2024 specifications advertise up to 34.1 miles of range added per charging hour. That is a published maximum-style metric, not a universal rate: charger output, starting state of charge, vehicle and battery condition, and environment affect the result. Before choosing equipment, confirm the exact charger’s connector and electrical requirements and whether your home circuit can support it. A 240-volt installation may require electrical work; verify installation requirements with a qualified professional. DC fast charging on the road
Honda estimated 35 minutes to charge from 20% to 80% using DC fast charging for the 2024 Prologue. It also listed up to 62–65 miles of range added in 10 minutes, depending on configuration. These are estimates, not fixed stop times or guaranteed range gains. Charging conditions, the vehicle’s battery state and the charger all matter; consult the specific vehicle’s owner’s manual and the charger’s information when planning.

4. How should you choose between EX, Touring and Elite?
Start with the drivetrain and range you want, then compare equipment on the exact model-year vehicle. Honda’s 2024 Prologue feature guide organizes driver-assistance, infotainment and convenience features by trim. Check the 2024 guide rather than assuming equipment shown for a later model year applies to a 2024 car.
For a used vehicle, confirm the trim and installed equipment from its VIN and vehicle documentation. Listings can contain errors, and a trim name alone does not establish the condition or presence of every feature on a particular car.

5. What should you check before buying a used 2024 Prologue?
- Verify configuration: Confirm whether the vehicle is EX, Touring or Elite and whether it is FWD or AWD. These distinctions change the published power and range.
- Check recall status by VIN: Use Honda’s official recall lookup or the NHTSA recall lookup for the specific vehicle. Recall status is vehicle-specific and can change; a model-level article cannot establish whether a particular car has an open campaign.
- Review charging equipment and condition: Confirm what cables or accessories are included, inspect their condition, and check that any home charging setup meets the equipment’s electrical requirements.
- Ask for vehicle-specific records: Review available maintenance, repair and battery-related documentation, and have the car inspected by a qualified EV technician if its condition is uncertain.
Honda’s current electrification guidance says Supercharger access uses a Honda NACS-CCS adapter. Because adapter approval and network access terms can change, confirm current compatibility and access instructions with Honda for the exact 2024 vehicle before relying on this option.
