The Koenigsegg Regera, Ferrari FXX-K Evo, McLaren F1 ’93, Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 ’73 and Ferrari LaFerrari are useful cars to compare—but the available evidence does not establish their order by maximum speed.
Why there is no definitive top five
“Fastest” can mean maximum speed on a long straight, rapid acceleration, cornering ability or overall race pace. Those measures can favor different cars. Player discussions, for example, distinguish claims about the Regera’s top-speed potential from the RSR’s reputation for strong race performance; neither is a standardized comparison across the cars listed here. A community comparison table also lists performance values at different PR levels, including for the McLaren F1, but its “Speed” column is not defined as a measured top speed in mph. It cannot establish a reliable maximum-speed order. EA Forums performance comparison
Five cars worth comparing
Koenigsegg Regera
Players associate the Regera with high top-speed potential, but that claim is anecdotal in the available discussion. It does not provide a disclosed build and repeatable test that would establish the car’s position against the other candidates. Player discussion

- manufacturer: Electronic Arts
Ferrari FXX-K Evo
The FXX-K Evo appears in a Need for Speed Heat car database. The available material does not establish its maximum-upgrade top speed or its rank against the other cars here. Heat car database
McLaren F1 ’93
EA announced the 1993 McLaren F1 as a Black Market delivery for Heat. The car also appears in a community PR-level comparison, but that table does not provide a verified top-speed result in mph. EA announcement of the McLaren F1 Black Market delivery EA Forums performance comparison

Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 ’73
The game database lists a stock top speed of 174 mph for the RSR. That is a stock-car figure, not evidence that it is the fastest fully upgraded car. Players also praise the RSR’s racing performance, but race pace is not the same measure as maximum speed. RSR database entry Player discussion
Ferrari LaFerrari
The LaFerrari is another option mentioned in player discussion. The available material does not provide a comparable test establishing its rank by top speed. Player discussion

How to compare them for your use
- Maximum speed: Compare speed on a long straight, using the same measurement method for every car.
- Acceleration: Note how quickly each build reaches speed; this can matter more than peak speed on shorter routes.
- Handling: Consider cornering and control, especially for routes where time spent turning outweighs time at maximum speed.
- Build: Record the engine setup and upgrades. A stock figure cannot be treated as a fully upgraded result.
- Race type: Decide whether you want straight-line speed or a car that performs well over a full race. Those are different goals.
To claim a true ranking, a comparison would need to disclose each car’s build and upgrades, use consistent conditions, and explain how top speed was measured. Without that, treat these five as candidates to try rather than a verified leaderboard.
