The Ferrari Amalfi is a front-mid-engine, 2+ V8 coupé that Ferrari unveiled on July 1, 2025, as the successor to the Roma coupé. The “2027” label is model-year framing used in automotive coverage, not the car’s debut year. Ferrari specifies 640 cv—about 631 mechanical horsepower—for its 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8.
What is the Ferrari Amalfi?
Ferrari positions the Amalfi as a contemporary grand-touring coupé: a front-mid-engine car with two front seats and two additional rear seats. It succeeds the Roma coupé in Ferrari’s line-up. The company describes the car as combining performance and versatility; that is Ferrari’s positioning, rather than an independent assessment.
The Amalfi’s engine displacement is 3,855 cc. Ferrari pairs the twin-turbo V8 with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and quotes 760 Nm of torque from 3,000 to 5,750 rpm.

Why is it called a 631-hp Ferrari if Ferrari says 640 cv?
Ferrari gives output in metric horsepower, abbreviated cv: 640 cv at 7,500 rpm. Converted to mechanical horsepower, that is about 631 hp, the figure used in U.S.-oriented coverage. The two numbers describe the same rated output in different units; Ferrari’s technical sheet states 640 cv, not 631 hp.
What are the Amalfi’s design and cabin features?
Exterior and aerodynamics
Ferrari describes the exterior as monolithic and sculpted. Its active rear wing has Low Drag, Medium Downforce, and High Downforce modes. In High Downforce mode, Ferrari reports up to 110 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. That is a manufacturer figure tied to the stated speed and mode, not an independent measurement.
