Porsche revealed the Cayenne Electric on November 19, 2025, launching its battery-electric SUV range with the all-wheel-drive Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric. The reveal-era figures included up to 642 km of WLTP range for the standard model and up to 850 kW (1,156 PS) with Launch Control for the Turbo. Porsche has since expanded the EV family with an S trim and Coupé body styles, so those first two models are not the complete range as of October 5, 2026.
What Porsche revealed in November 2025
The first electric Cayennes were two all-wheel-drive SUVs: Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric. Porsche kept combustion-engine and plug-in hybrid Cayennes in parallel; the battery-electric models did not replace the entire Cayenne range.
The specifications below are Porsche claims from the reveal, not independent road-test or instrumented-test results. Power figures use the global release’s metric units; Porsche’s US release gives different customary-unit figures.
Cayenne Electric
Porsche rated the standard model at 300 kW (408 PS) in normal operation and up to 325 kW (442 PS) with Launch Control. Its stated torque is 835 Nm, and its claimed 0–100 km/h time is 4.8 seconds. In the US release, Porsche quoted 402 hp normally, 435 hp with Launch Control, and 0–60 mph in 4.5 seconds.

Cayenne Turbo Electric
The Turbo’s maximum output is 850 kW (1,156 PS) with Launch Control; Porsche’s US release expresses that figure as 1,139 hp. Porsche says normal-driving output reaches 630 kW (857 PS). The company quotes up to 1,500 Nm of torque with Launch Control, a 0–100 km/h time of 2.5 seconds, and a top speed of 260 km/h. Its Push-to-Pass function can add 130 kW (176 PS) for ten seconds.
Both launch models use Porsche electronic Traction Management (ePTM). Porsche says the Turbo’s rear electric motor uses direct oil cooling.
What range did Porsche claim?
At the reveal, Porsche quoted up to 642 km of WLTP range for Cayenne Electric and up to 623 km for Cayenne Turbo Electric. These are WLTP-cycle figures from Porsche, not EPA ratings and not a promise of the distance a driver will achieve. Porsche has not established independent real-world range results.

How fast can the Cayenne Electric charge?
Porsche specifies an 800-volt electrical system and DC charging of up to 400 kW in particular conditions. Its FAQ gives a maximum of 390 kW for the 10–80% charging interval under the stated optimal conditions, while 400 kW is possible under another set of specific conditions. The headline peak is therefore not a rate to expect at every charging station or throughout a charging session.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesPorsche estimates less than 16 minutes for a 10–80% charge and up to 325 km of WLTP range added in ten minutes. Those estimates require a CCS station rated above 390 kW, above 850 V and 520 A, a battery at 15°C, and a session beginning at 9% state of charge; the range-added estimate uses German standard-equipment consumption. They are best-case manufacturer figures, not ordinary-station guarantees.
Ports, Plug & Charge and wireless charging
The vehicle has charging ports on both sides and supports Plug & Charge. Porsche also describes an optional inductive system rated up to 11 kW: a floor plate is installed at the parking space and a receiver is mounted behind the front axle. Porsche’s FAQ reports transfer efficiency above 90% and says charging time is equivalent to a wired wallbox. Availability, installation requirements and market-specific details should be confirmed locally before treating the optional system as an available home setup.

How the lineup changed after the reveal
The November 2025 debut covered the standard and Turbo electric SUVs. Porsche added the Cayenne S Electric in March 2026 and announced Coupé versions in April 2026. As of October 5, 2026, Porsche’s newsroom and press-kit materials show a broader trim and body-style family. The reveal’s two-model list is a snapshot of the launch, not a full description of the later range.
Porsche’s April 2026 release gave German starting prices of €109,000 for Cayenne Coupé Electric, €130,300 for Cayenne S Coupé Electric and €168,500 for Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric. Those are Germany-specific prices from that dated release, not current US prices or universal MSRPs. The available evidence does not establish complete current pricing or order availability across markets.

When comparing a Cayenne Electric with another trim or body style, the useful questions are:
- Which trim and body style suits the desired output and cargo needs?
- What are the local price and included equipment for the specific market?
- How does the local range rating compare, and how well does it fit typical routes?
- Is suitable high-power public charging available on those routes?
- Can a home charging installation meet the vehicle’s connector and electrical requirements?
- Does the chosen configuration meet the required towing capacity?
The car’s technology package includes electrically adjustable rear seats, a Flow Display, an augmented-reality head-up display, AI-supported Voice Pilot and smartphone/smartwatch Digital Key. Electric Sport Sound is optional. These features and equipment may vary by market or configuration.
