Honda’s published specifications define the hardware, but they are not independent road-test results. The company promotes the CB300R as responsive and suitable for commuting or as a first bike; those are Honda’s characterizations, not measured performance findings.

Honda lists a 316-pound curb weight, which it defines as including standard equipment, required fluids, and a full fuel tank. Other listed figures are a 31.6-inch seat height, 2.6-gallon fuel capacity, 53.2-inch wheelbase, and 24.7-degree rake. These are manufacturer figures, not independent measurements. The published specifications do not establish real-world fuel economy or riding range.

Brakes and suspension
Honda specifies ABS and disc brakes at both ends: a 296mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc. Suspension consists of a 41mm front fork with 5.1 inches of travel and a Pro-Link single shock with 5.2 inches of rear travel. These figures describe the listed equipment; they do not by themselves establish stopping distances or handling performance.
