1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThe 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro starts at $67,400, while Ford lists the 2025 Bronco Raptor at $80,390 on its build-and-price page. That puts the Ford $12,990 higher on those displayed figures, before delivery charges, options, taxes, dealer fees, or negotiated pricing. The Toyota costs less, but at nearly $67,000 before delivery and other charges, it is still an expensive off-road SUV.
How much does the 2025 4Runner TRD Pro cost?
Toyota’s 2025 shopping page lists the 4Runner TRD Pro at a $67,400 base MSRP. Toyota’s December 2024 launch announcement says the 2025 lineup carries a $1,450 delivery processing and handling charge, which would bring the TRD Pro to $68,850 before taxes, title, registration, dealer charges, options, or any discount. That is not an out-the-door price.
The TRD Pro sits near the top of the 4Runner range. Toyota’s current 2025 shopping page lists the SR5 from $41,270, while the TRD Pro is $67,400. The launch announcement gave the lineup a starting MSRP of $40,770 plus delivery; the current shopping-page SR5 figure differs, so use the trim-specific live listing when comparing prices.
How much more is the 2025 Bronco Raptor?
Ford’s 2025 Bronco build-and-price page lists the Raptor at $80,390 starting. Compared with Toyota’s $67,400 base MSRP, that is a $12,990 difference, with Ford higher. This is a comparison of the two manufacturers’ displayed figures, not a prediction of the gap between dealer quotes or final transaction prices.

Ford’s separate pricing-and-incentives page displays $81,990 cash purchase pricing for a 2025 Raptor. The available figures do not establish why that amount differs from the build-and-price starting figure, so they should not be treated as a reconciled, like-for-like MSRP pair. For a purchase decision, compare current quotes for specific vehicles and confirm what each includes.

What does the extra money buy?
These are both off-road-focused vehicles, but they are not exact equivalents in specification or intended use. Their published hardware and output help explain why the sticker-price comparison alone does not settle which one suits a buyer.

Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro
Toyota says the TRD Pro is an i-FORCE MAX hybrid-exclusive grade. Toyota reports up to 326 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque for the system. The TRD Pro includes TRD-tuned FOX QS3 adjustable shocks with rear remote reservoirs, a TRD performance air intake, and 33-inch Toyo tires; Toyota’s model page also highlights a Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism. Toyota estimates fuel economy at 23/24 MPG for this trim.
Ford Bronco Raptor
Ford lists the Bronco Raptor with a 418-horsepower 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6, a 10-speed automatic, HOSS 4.0 suspension with FOX Live Valve 3.1 dampers, 13.1 inches of ground clearance, and 37-inch water-fording capability. Those figures describe a different equipment and capability package from the Toyota’s hybrid powertrain and 33-inch tires. The cited Ford pages do not provide a comparable fuel-economy figure, so they do not support a direct efficiency comparison here.

Is the 4Runner TRD Pro expensive?
“Expensive” depends on the comparison. Against the Bronco Raptor’s $80,390 build-and-price starting figure, the Toyota is clearly less expensive by $12,990 on the displayed manufacturer prices. Within Toyota’s own 2025 4Runner lineup, however, the TRD Pro is a high-trim choice, listed at $67,400 versus the SR5’s $41,270 starting price on Toyota’s shopping page. It is cheaper than the Raptor, not a low-cost 4Runner.
Neither manufacturer’s listed figure tells you what a particular buyer will pay. Delivery, options, tax, title and registration, dealer charges, discounts, and vehicle-specific availability affect the final quote. The published prices are for model year 2025; current 2026 inventory and offers can differ, and remaining 2025 stock may be limited. Check the vehicle’s window sticker and a written, VIN-specific dealer quote for a current total.

Which one makes more sense for you?
- Prioritize the displayed starting price: Toyota’s TRD Pro is lower by $12,990 versus Ford’s $80,390 build-and-price figure, before additional charges or dealer pricing.
- Prioritize published power and trail dimensions: Ford lists more horsepower, 37-inch tires, and 13.1 inches of ground clearance. Those specifications do not, by themselves, establish which vehicle is better on every trail or in every use case.
- Want a hybrid powertrain and Toyota’s listed fuel-economy estimate: The TRD Pro has i-FORCE MAX and Toyota’s 23/24 MPG estimate. The cited Ford pages do not give a comparable figure.
- Decide based on actual purchase cost: Compare current, similarly configured vehicle quotes and account for delivery, taxes, fees, options, and any discount instead of treating a starting price as the amount due.
