The available official campaign material verifies the following example. It does not establish a complete list of calendar-year 2025 campaigns affecting 2025-model-year Subaru vehicles in the United States.

The configuration matters: the bulletin does not say that every 2025 Forester, every Limited, or every Forester with different wheels is included. Nor does the example establish that other 2025 Subaru models have no recalls.
Does my 2025 Subaru have a recall?
Check the full 17-character VIN, rather than relying on model year, trim, or equipment. Subaru’s Vehicle Recalls lookup asks for a VIN and reports recall information for that vehicle. Subaru says recalls issued before February 1998 are not included; its page states that the information was last updated September 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. EST.

You can also use NHTSA’s recall search. A year/make/model search can show general results, but use the VIN search to determine whether a particular vehicle is covered. A recall campaign may apply only to vehicles within a defined production or configuration range.
What to do if a recall appears
- Enter the vehicle’s complete 17-character VIN in Subaru’s recall lookup or NHTSA’s VIN search.
- Read the campaign details and confirm that the result applies to your vehicle. If the result is unclear, contact a Subaru retailer and provide the VIN.
- If the lookup shows an open recall, schedule the recall service with a Subaru retailer. Subaru’s recall support guidance directs owners to schedule open recall work with a retailer.
- Follow any instructions provided by Subaru or the retailer while arranging service. Do not substitute aftermarket parts for the manufacturer’s safety-recall remedy.
Why this is not a complete model-by-model list
“2025 Subaru recalls” can refer either to recalls announced or filed during calendar year 2025, or to any recall that affects a 2025-model-year vehicle. Those are different scopes. The verified example above is a calendar-year 2025 campaign affecting a specified subset of 2025 Foresters; the available official material does not establish the full set of campaigns from that year mapped to 2025-model-year vehicles.
