Lamborghini claims more than 60 km of electric driving in Full EV mode, 800 PS of combined power and a 0–100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds. Those are manufacturer figures, not independent test results.
What the 2025 Urus SE is—and what it isn’t
Lamborghini unveiled the Urus SE in April 2024 as the first plug-in hybrid version of its Super SUV, with its public premiere at Auto China Beijing on April 25. The company described it as “the first hybrid plug-in version of the Lamborghini Super SUV.” The V8 remains the combustion half of the powertrain; the SE adds electric drive rather than replacing the engine.
That distinction matters when interpreting “electrified.” The SE can travel in an electric mode, but its stated range is more than 60 km, not a promise that the vehicle is an electric-only model for every journey. V8, electric motor and headline performance
The 2024 brochure specifies a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor that supplies traction and boost, and a 25.9-kWh high-voltage battery. It gives combined system output as 800 PS. Lamborghini’s U.S. premiere announcement instead uses 800 CV, which it renders as 789 horsepower, and describes the battery as 25 kWh. These are different source conventions and rounded battery descriptions, so the figures should not be silently blended.

Lamborghini’s April launch material quotes 0–100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 11.4 seconds and a top speed of 312 km/h. The U.S. announcement gives 0–62 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 194 mph. These are manufacturer-claimed specifications, not measured results. In the same launch article, Lamborghini compares the SE’s 0–100 km/h time and top speed with the Urus S at 3.5 seconds and 305 km/h, respectively. Lamborghini’s U.S. premiere announcement
Electric range, charging and efficiency
The brochure claims more than 60 km of range in Full EV mode and an EV-mode maximum speed of 135 km/h. It names four electric-powertrain strategies: EV, Recharge, Hybrid and Performance. No independent real-world range result or U.S. EPA electric-range rating is established by those brochure claims.

Lamborghini lists a Mode 3 public charging cable, pedestal dock, wall dock and wall clips among the charging equipment. Anyone sourcing a separate cable or charging accessory should verify connector, charging-rate and regional compatibility for the specific vehicle; the equipment list alone does not establish third-party fitment.
The brochure’s efficiency values are WLTP figures, not U.S. EPA ratings: weighted-combined consumption is 21.4 kWh/100 km plus 5.7 L/100 km, weighted-combined CO₂ emissions are 140 g/km, and combined fuel consumption with the battery discharged is 12.9 L/100 km. These figures use different operating conditions, so the battery-discharged fuel-consumption figure should not be read as the same measure as the weighted-combined energy-and-fuel value. 2024 Lamborghini Urus SE brochure

What changes outside and inside
Lamborghini lists a new bonnet, matrix headlights, front bumper and grille, plus changes to the tailgate, rear bumper and taillamp grille. The brochure also describes a range of rims, tires and exterior colors. These are the company’s stated design updates; they do not, by themselves, establish a measured aerodynamic or practical advantage.
Inside, Lamborghini says the SE gets revised HMI graphics, a center screen 2.2 inches wider, a new dashboard and air vents, and new physical buttons. The stated changes therefore include both updated screen presentation and revised physical controls, rather than a screen-only refresh.

Drive modes and chassis hardware
The brochure describes torque vectoring through a center hang-on differential and a rear e-differential, intended to manage longitudinal and lateral torque. It lists six road and terrain modes and four electric strategies, with 11 combinations overall:
- Road and terrain modes: Strada, Sport, Corsa, Sabbia, Terra and Neve.
- Electric strategies: EV, Recharge, Hybrid and Performance.
The brochure names Pirelli P Zero tires as standard and Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires as an option. That equipment listing is not a comparative tire test, and it does not establish how either setup performs on the road.
