The 2025 Japan Mobility Show’s standout moments came from its range: a vision of Tokyo’s mobility in 2035, historic cars and live performances, startup showcases, family activities, and technology exhibits that reached beyond finished vehicles. This is a curated selection, not an official ranking. The show ran October 30–November 9, 2025, at Tokyo Big Sight, and Japan’s automobile manufacturers association (JAMA) reported that more than one million people attended and 522 companies and organizations participated. JAMA’s event site framed the show as “A unique opportunity to explore the future of mobility.”
Tokyo Future Tour 2035 turned mobility into a city-wide scenario
Rather than focusing only on cars, Tokyo Future Tour 2035 asked what mobility might look like across everyday life in Tokyo ten years ahead. JAMA said the program was developed with 178 companies and organizations as of October 15, 2025. Its five sections covered future mobility on land, in the sky, and at sea; city life; outdoor life; and a future design factory with interactive exhibits. Those displays made the future tangible as a set of possible experiences, not a promise that the concepts would reach the market by 2035.
In its closing report, JAMA counted approximately 311,000 visitors to Tokyo Future Tour 2035. That is an organizer-reported attendance figure, not a measure of visitor satisfaction. JAMA’s event site provides the program and closing-report context.
Mobility Culture linked vehicles with history and live action
The Mobility Culture Program brought the emotional and enthusiast side of mobility into the show: historic vehicles, motorsport and driving demonstrations, motorcycle performances, and fan gatherings. JAMA’s announced program described Time Slip Garage as a postwar-to-present journey told through period scenes and iconic cars. Other planned elements included a camping-car area, a kei-truck market, and Tokyo Supercar Day, alongside dynamic motorcycle performances.

JAMA reported approximately 346,000 visitors for the Mobility Culture Program in its closing release—more than the approximately 311,000 it reported for Tokyo Future Tour 2035. The figures distinguish the scale of two different programs; they do not establish which was better. The organizer’s event information describes the planned activities and reported attendance.
Startups and family activities widened the show’s scope
Startup Future Factory put mobility-related businesses and research in the same frame as established automakers. Its announced program included startup and university participation, exhibits, and a pitch contest. JAMA’s closing report said 118 startup companies participated in the Pitch Contest & Awards.

The show also made room for children to explore mobility-related careers through “Out of KidZania in Japan Mobility Show 2025.” JAMA reported more than 26,906 participants in the program. Together, these activities showed a side of the event aimed not only at car enthusiasts, but also at families and people interested in the wider mobility industry. JAMA’s event site is the source for the program details and post-event figures.

Century concepts explored different kinds of luxury
The Century exhibitor listing described concept and reference displays, including a Century presented as a driver’s car and/or chauffeur car, a Century GRMN specification, and a custom-made example with a matte-black exterior and Flare Orange interior. These were exhibit descriptions and concept or reference items; the listing does not establish that they were production vehicles or available to buy. Toyota’s Japan Mobility Show exhibit listing describes the displays.

DENSO highlighted inverter packaging and cooling
DENSO’s exhibit listing featured a silicon-carbide (SiC)-based flat dual-sided cooling inverter. DENSO said that flattening the power-card arrangement and cooling it from both sides reduced the core module’s size by 30%. The company also said power loss was about 70% lower than in its previous silicon-based products. These are DENSO’s own comparisons on its show listing, not independent test results. DENSO’s exhibit information describes the technology and its stated comparisons.

Japan Mobility Show 2025 was broader than a conventional new-car display: it paired speculative future scenarios with automotive culture, hands-on activities, startups, family programming, and exhibits about components and manufacturing. JAMA’s closing release described mobility as “more than just a means of transportation”—an organizer’s framing that fits the show’s mix of vehicles, experiences, and industries. Its official highlights and booth-digest gallery offers a visual record of the event, but does not by itself verify technical specifications or visitor reactions.
