The 2025 Honda Rebel 1100 is worth considering if you want a low-seat cruiser, a 1084cc parallel-twin and a choice of manual or automatic dual-clutch transmission (DCT). It is not a universal fit: the DCT weighs more, the listed fuel tank is 3.6 gallons, and Honda’s specifications alone cannot establish comfort, real-world range or value against other cruisers. Here’s what the model offers and how to choose among its versions.
Is the Honda Rebel 1100 a good cruiser?
On paper, the Rebel 1100 brings together several useful choices: a 27.5-inch seat height, a liquid-cooled 1084cc parallel-twin four-stroke, and either a six-speed manual or six-speed DCT. Honda also lists multiple ride modes and selectable torque and wheelie-control settings. Those specifications make it a plausible option for riders who want cruiser styling and a choice in how they shift, but they do not prove that it will suit every rider or outperform a competing motorcycle.
It may be a good match if you prefer a low seat and want to decide between conventional gear changes and automatic operation. If you are assessing one for yourself, treat seat height and curb weight as starting points: sit on the bike and, if possible, assess how it feels to move and balance in person. A published dimension cannot predict comfort or maneuverability for every body type and riding situation.
What are the 2025 Rebel 1100’s key specifications?
Honda’s 2025 U.S. specifications list the following for the standard Rebel 1100 and DCT. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

Honda’s specification pages list a 3.6-gallon fuel capacity, but the capacity alone does not establish riding range. A range estimate would require a supported fuel-economy figure and stated calculation assumptions.
Should you get the Rebel 1100 manual or DCT?
The central choice is how much you want to manage shifting yourself. The manual uses a conventional six-speed transmission; the DCT handles shifts automatically and also offers a manual mode operated with paddle shifters, according to Honda. The DCT weighs 22 pounds more than the manual in Honda’s listed curb weights. That is a specification difference, not proof of how either version will feel to a particular rider.

- Choose the manual if you want to operate a conventional clutch and shift through the gears yourself.
- Consider the DCT if you want automatic shifting for ordinary operation but value the option to select manual mode with paddle shifters.
- Compare them in person if the listed weight is a concern; the figures do not settle which one will be easier for you to handle.
What changes between the Rebel 1100 trims?
Honda’s 2025 U.S. model pages list three standard-family versions. The prices below are manufacturer listings checked on October 8, 2026, not current out-the-door quotes.

Honda’s displayed totals include a $775 destination charge. Honda says those totals exclude tax, license, registration, dealer-installed options and setup fees; dealer prices may vary. The SE’s listed additions are equipment differences, not evidence of a particular comfort or performance improvement.

What rider aids does Honda list?
Honda describes the Rebel 1100 as having throttle-by-wire, Standard, Rain and Sport ride modes, customizable power modes, selectable torque control and wheelie-control settings. These are listed features; their presence does not by itself establish superior real-world safety or performance.

The related Rebel 1100T DCT is the touring-oriented version in Honda’s 2025 lineup. Honda lists it with fairing and luggage equipment and a $11,499 base MSRP. Those additions distinguish its setup from the standard model, but do not establish a longer range or a highway-comfort advantage. Compare the actual equipment and price with the way you plan to use the motorcycle.
