What Honda publishes about power and speed
Honda UK lists peak output of 6.9 kW at 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 10.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm. Its 2025 specifications page gives a maximum speed of 90 km/h. That is a manufacturer specification, not an independently verified or GPS-measured top speed. Honda’s reviewed US specification listing does not show power, torque, or maximum speed, so the UK figures should not be treated as US-market specifications.

How the semi-automatic transmission works
The Dax has four gears but no hand-operated clutch lever. Honda US describes shifting with a heel-toe pedal. Honda UK specifies a rotary four-speed transmission with an automatic centrifugal clutch. In practical terms, the rider still changes gears, while the automatic clutch removes the need to operate a clutch lever. It is not a conventional twist-and-go scooter transmission.

Honda US estimates 106.7 mpg using EPA exhaust-emission measurement procedures.
