2025 Colorado pricing by trim
Chevrolet’s 2025 model page lists six trims, although a comparison heading on the page says “compare 5 models.” The table below follows the six trim entries Chevrolet actually shows. Prices are starting MSRPs, not guaranteed transaction prices; options and dealer terms can change what a buyer pays.

Chevrolet also labels WT, Custom and LT examples as “shown” at $35,200, $36,840 and $38,100, respectively. Those are example vehicle prices on the page, not the listed starting MSRPs.
Engine, towing and dimensions
Chevrolet lists the 2.7-liter TurboMax inline-four as standard across the 2025 Colorado range. Its published rating is 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Chevrolet says the engine uses regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum 87-octane rating, and its FAQ says the Colorado is not offered with a V6.

Chevrolet advertises a maximum of 7,700 lb of available towing. That is a lineup maximum, not a towing rating for every Colorado: the exact truck configuration and installed equipment matter. Chevrolet lists a 3,500-lb-capacity hitch trailering package for WT, LT, Z71 and Trail Boss models from 2023 through 2026; vehicles without a trailering package require an accessory trailering wiring harness, according to the listing. Confirm equipment and installation requirements for the specific truck before towing or buying parts.

Bed and tailgate features
Chevrolet describes several available bed and tailgate features that can make the Colorado more useful for hauling and loading:
- A mid-position tailgate rated to support 500 lb.
- An integrated 120-volt outlet and bed lighting.
- An integrated measurement tool.
- Up to 17 tie-downs, depending on configuration.
Feature availability can vary by trim and equipment, so check the build details for the truck being considered.

Which trim fits your priorities?
For a lower starting price and basic utility: WT
The WT is the least expensive listed trim at $31,900. Its published highlights include 17-inch wheels, Chevy Safety Assist and the two-display setup. It is the starting point for buyers who want the standard TurboMax powertrain without moving up to the comfort or off-road equipment highlighted on higher trims.
For blacked-out styling: Custom
At $33,045, Custom adds 18-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels and black emblems while retaining the listed safety and display features. Chevrolet’s page presents it chiefly as a styling step above WT.

The $43,900 Z71 also has 32-inch all-terrain tires and selectable drive modes, along with LED headlamps, taillamps and fog lamps. Chevrolet highlights a Jet Black interior with Adrenaline Red accents.
For the most specialized off-road hardware listed: ZR2
ZR2 is the highest-priced listed trim at $49,600. Its 3-inch factory lift, 33-inch mud-terrain tires, performance suspension and Multimatic DSSV dampers distinguish it from Trail Boss. Chevrolet lists five selectable drive modes for ZR2 and identifies Baja as exclusive to that trim.

- Bed liner: Chevrolet lists a Bowtie-logo bed liner with storage pockets for 2023–2026 WT, LT, Z71 and Trail Boss models. The listing does not name ZR2, so do not assume fitment for that trim. A search phrase such as “2025 Chevy Colorado bed liner” may help locate options, but it does not establish that this specific Chevrolet part is sold by any particular retailer.
- Trailering equipment: The listed hitch trailering package is rated at 3,500 lb and fits 2023–2026 WT, LT, Z71 and Trail Boss models. Chevrolet says vehicles without a trailering package require an accessory trailering wiring harness. Check the truck’s existing equipment and installation needs.
