General Motors estimates 177–179 miles of combined range with the standard battery and up to 272 miles with the max-range battery. Its headline capacity figures are 614.7 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume, 3,350 pounds of maximum available payload and 11,000 pounds of maximum available GVWR. These are published prices and manufacturer specifications—not a delivered-price quote or a promise that every van has the maximum rating.
2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop 600 price and configurations
Chevrolet lists the 2025 BrightDrop 600 starting at $66,100. Cars.com lists the eFWD 600 at $66,100 and the eAWD 600 at $68,700. These are listed starting prices, not a current transaction quote; options, delivery charges, local incentives and vehicle availability are not established by those figures. General Motors announced in August 2024 that BrightDrop would move under the Chevrolet brand, with sales and service handled through appropriately certified Chevrolet dealers. That announcement describes the sales network at that time; it does not establish present production or inventory. GM’s August 2024 announcement also explains why 2025 vans carry Chevrolet branding, while earlier BrightDrop Zevo 600 references relate to the naming lineage.
Photos and model identification
Chevrolet’s model page displays 2025 BrightDrop 600 imagery, and Cars.com provides a multi-image gallery. Images can help identify the walk-in cargo-van layout, but check captions and image disclosures: a pictured vehicle may be preproduction or show optional equipment. Range, drivetrain and battery specifications
GM’s 2025 technical specification gives projected combined range of 177 miles for standard-battery FWD, 179 miles for standard-battery AWD and 272 miles for max-range configurations. These are analytical estimates consistent with SAE J1634 revision 2017-MCT, not real-world test results. The document says EPA estimates were not yet available. Actual range can vary with temperature, terrain, battery age, load, use and maintenance. GM’s 2025 technical specification is the source for the following configuration details.

The small estimated-range difference between standard FWD and AWD is not a substitute for matching the drivetrain to a route or worksite. Compare the expected duty cycle, load, terrain and charging access; the range figures are estimates and real operating conditions matter.

Charging capability
GM lists two maximum Level 2 AC charging capabilities—11.5 kW or 19.2 kW depending on configuration—and estimated charging rates of up to 16–26 miles per hour. For Level 3 DC fast charging, the specification lists 120 kW peak power at 400V and an 80% charge time of 40–45 minutes, depending on configuration. Charge time varies with battery state and condition, charger output, vehicle settings and outdoor temperature.
Charging equipment is not established as included with the van. Before selecting a Level 2 charger or planning depot installation, confirm the specific vehicle’s configuration and the site’s electrical service; the vehicle’s maximum capability alone does not determine installation suitability or charge time.

Cargo capacity and work-focused features
Chevrolet lists 614.7 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume, 3,350 pounds of maximum available payload and 11,000 pounds of maximum available gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) for the 2025 BrightDrop 600. These are manufacturer maximums, not ratings guaranteed on every unit. For a load decision, check the specific van’s door-jamb label and follow its loading instructions.
- A rear garage door and anti-slip cargo floors are designed around loading and cargo handling.
- Exterior pocket doors are among the work-focused features Chevrolet describes.
- Standard cargo security features include an alarm, motion-activated cargo lighting and an auto-locking sliding bulkhead door.
The smaller BrightDrop 400 provides a useful capacity comparison: Chevrolet lists 412.1 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume and 3,710 pounds of maximum available payload, compared with the 600’s 614.7 cubic feet and 3,350 pounds. The 600 offers more listed cargo volume, while the 400 has the higher listed maximum payload. Both sets of figures are maximums, so verify the ratings for the actual vehicle before planning loads. Chevrolet’s model information lists these capacities.

Safety features and warranty
Chevrolet describes more than 20 standard safety and driver-assistance features, while cautioning that driver assistance does not replace the driver’s responsibility and that conditions can affect system performance. Its wording is corporate marketing copy: “With more than 20 standard safety and driver assistance features,* BrightDrop can help provide peace of mind every workday.” Review the vehicle’s specific equipment and applicable feature disclosures rather than assuming every system operates in every condition. Chevrolet’s model page carries the feature description and warning.
GM’s 2025 technical specification lists battery and electric-component coverage of 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. It directs buyers to a dealer for coverage details and limitations. The GM specification is the source for that term.

Production status and current availability
Current production and new-vehicle availability are unresolved by the cited sources. Cars.com’s editorial note reports that GM announced on October 21, 2025, that it had discontinued production of its BrightDrop electric commercial vans. The official GM materials cited here do not verify that later claim: GM’s August 2024 announcement said production would continue at CAMI at that time. Neither source establishes present dealer inventory. Buyers should confirm current status, dealer availability and the VIN-specific details directly with an appropriately certified Chevrolet dealer before relying on a current buying claim.
