Tesla’s current product information gives the following measurements for the Model 3. The 2024-and-newer owner’s manual independently documents the 185.8-inch length and 82.2-inch width with mirrors extended for rear-wheel-drive and Long Range configurations.

What changed on the 2024 Tesla Model 3 (Highland)
Exterior lighting and surfaces
The refresh is most visible in the slimmer front and rear lighting and the redesigned bumper treatments. These changes make the car look sharper without abandoning the familiar three-box silhouette.

Cabin presentation
The interior remains screen-led and minimalist, but the Highland presentation emphasizes quieter materials, acoustic glass, revised trim and a more enveloping dashboard treatment. The 15.4-inch center display remains the main interface.
Rear-passenger equipment
Some cars add an 8-inch rear display, along with features such as ventilated front seats and higher-grade audio. Treat these as configuration-dependent equipment, not universal 2024 Model 3 features.

Practicality
The published 24-cubic-foot cargo volume and five-seat layout remain central to the Model 3’s usefulness. The liftback-style opening allows bulky items to be loaded more easily than the sedan profile suggests, although the exact usable space depends on the item and seat position.

Tesla’s current page shows 321 miles of EPA-estimated range for the displayed rear-wheel-drive specification and up to 363 miles for a Long Range rear-wheel-drive configuration. Those figures do not apply to every 2024 Model 3. Drive layout, wheel size, trim and market all matter.

An InsideEVs overview of the 2024 Highland listed 272 miles of EPA-estimated range for the entry-level rear-wheel-drive model. That is a separate 2024 reference point, not a replacement for the current Tesla-page figures. Performance models have different range and acceleration specifications again.

How to read a 2024 Model 3 gallery accurately
- Identify the market and trim. Tesla equipment and certified figures can differ by region and model year.
- Check the drive layout and wheel size. These can change range and acceleration.
- Separate visible equipment from optional equipment. A rear screen, ventilated seats or upgraded audio must be confirmed for that car.
- Use the dimensions as model-level anchors. The published measurements describe the current Model 3, while small visual details can vary by configuration.
