The guide’s 1,032 lb-ft combined torque figure is explicitly a calculated theoretical value used for comparison, not a direct measurement or a promise that this torque is continuously available. Mercedes estimates 0–60 mph in 2.8 seconds and lists a 197-mph electronically limited top speed. The same U.S. guide lists a curb weight of 5,247 pounds. Keep the 2.8-second estimate specific to this four-door: a separate April 2024 launch release for the newly introduced AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE coupe gives a 2.7-second claim, which is not the four-door guide’s figure. This is a P3-style hybrid layout: the combustion engine sits at the front, while the electric drive unit is mounted at the rear axle. The U.S. guide lists a 6.1-kWh battery, of which 4.8 kWh is usable. The available specifications establish an unusual, performance-focused plug-in-hybrid formula and extensive standard hardware, but they cannot answer how the car feels over broken pavement, how naturally its mass is managed in corners, how intrusive its power delivery is, or how comfortable it is on a long drive. Those require a real drive or independently sourced road test. For a test drive, check how smoothly the V8 and rear motor combine at low speeds, whether regenerative braking feels predictable, how the suspension behaves in its different settings, and whether the rear steering and drive modes suit your roads and intended use.
