The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto is the first model-year version of Lamborghini’s V12 plug-in hybrid supercar, combining a naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors and all-wheel drive. It delivers extraordinary acceleration, but its roughly five-mile electric-only range, two-seat layout and six-figure-plus US pricing make it a specialized exotic rather than a practical plug-in hybrid.
What is the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto?
The Revuelto takes over the Aventador’s place in Lamborghini’s lineup as the brand’s first V12 plug-in hybrid HPEV. Its powertrain pairs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with two electric motors at the front and a third at the rear, plus an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The front motors support electric all-wheel drive; Lamborghini says the car offers 13 drive modes, including an all-electric mode. Lamborghini’s March 2023 launch release gives combined output as 1015 CV. Car and Driver lists 1001 hp for the US-market car, so the figures should be read in their stated units and source contexts, not treated as interchangeable labels.
The architecture is intended to add electric response and low-speed stealth without replacing the V12 character. Car and Driver describes the drivetrain as exceptionally powerful and calls the EV mode a highlight, while also noting that the electric range is short. Those are the publication’s review judgments, not a guarantee of every owner’s experience. Car and Driver’s review lists the battery as 3.4 kWh in its specifications section and 3.8 kWh in its range section; because those entries conflict, a single capacity figure cannot be stated confidently.

Specification values are from Car and Driver’s 2024 specifications listing, except the maker’s 1015 CV output figure, which comes from the Lamborghini launch release. The test car was identified by Car and Driver as wearing Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires in those staggered sizes; check the VIN, wheel setup, and tire load and speed ratings before replacing tires, since fitment may vary by build.
How fast is the Revuelto?
Keep Lamborghini’s metric claims separate from independent US road-test results. Lamborghini’s authorized specifications give 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 2.5 seconds and a top speed above 350 km/h. In Car and Driver’s test, the Revuelto reached 60 mph in 2.2 seconds, completed the quarter-mile in 9.7 seconds at 148 mph, and took 9.9 seconds to reach 150 mph. The magazine says its acceleration times omit a 0.2-second one-foot rollout correction. Its listed 217-mph maximum speed is a manufacturer claim, not a measured top-speed result.

Its specification listing gives a $608,358 MSRP; the road-test page lists a $612,858 base price and $729,458 as tested. Another portion of that review page shows a retail range of $600,790–$802,290. These are page-specific publisher figures, not current dealer quotes or guaranteed prices. The differences may reflect listing conventions and configuration, but the pages do not establish a single current price.

What are the Revuelto’s MPG and electric range?
Car and Driver lists US EPA estimates of 10 mpg city, 17 mpg highway and 12 mpg combined on gasoline, plus 23 MPGe combined for gasoline and electricity. It estimates approximately five miles of electric-only operation. These are EPA-labelled estimates and the outlet’s range estimate; they are not a promise of the distance every driver will achieve. Car and Driver says it has not run its 75-mph highway fuel-economy route for this car, so its page does not provide a real-world result from that test.

The 2024 Lamborghini brochure presents a different test-cycle set: WLTP weighted combined fuel consumption of 11.86 L/100 km, electricity consumption of 10.1 kWh/100 km, and CO₂ emissions of 276 g/km; it also shows 12.0 mpg gasoline-only combined and 23.0 MPGe combined. This is a two-seat coupe, not a family-use hybrid: there are no rear seats, and the front luggage area is small. Its plug-in system is best understood as part of the performance package and a way to travel a short distance electrically, not as a substitute for a long-range electric car. Car and Driver’s review identifies limited practicality and high cost as drawbacks.

Car and Driver’s 2024 US-market review summary lists three-year, unlimited-mile limited and powertrain warranties, with no complimentary scheduled maintenance. Warranty and maintenance terms can depend on the country and individual vehicle, so verify the written coverage for the specific car.
