The 2024 KTM RC 390 pairs a 373 cc single-cylinder engine with track-focused chassis hardware and road-oriented equipment. KTM’s U.S. pages list its core specifications, electronics, dimensions and U.S. pricing; they do not establish real-world performance, fuel economy or dealer availability.
1. What are the 2024 KTM RC 390’s specs?
KTM’s U.S. specification page describes a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine—not a twin or other multi-cylinder layout. It lists 373 cm³ displacement, 37 Nm of torque and a six-speed transmission for the 2024 model. These are manufacturer-published figures, not independent test results. 2. What is notable about the chassis and suspension?
The steel trellis frame is paired with 43 mm WP APEX front suspension and a WP APEX rear monoshock. KTM’s U.S. model page describes click-adjustable front damping and rear rebound and preload adjustment. Those adjustment points give an owner ways to tune the setup; they do not, by themselves, establish how the bike handles or rides in a particular situation.
3. What brakes and ABS does it have?
KTM lists a 320 mm front disc with a four-piston radial fixed caliper and a 230 mm rear disc with a single-piston floating caliper. The model page also lists Cornering ABS, which is described as cornering-sensitive braking assistance. It additionally offers Supermoto ABS mode, which disables rear-wheel ABS. That mode changes the rear ABS intervention; it is not a substitute for rider skill or a guarantee against a loss of control.

4. Does it have traction control?
KTM lists Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) among the RC 390’s electronic aids. The manufacturer’s feature list establishes that the system is offered on the bike, but does not provide a quantified intervention or independent performance assessment.
5. Is Quickshifter+ standard?
No: KTM identifies Quickshifter+ as optional. The system allows clutchless upshifts and downshifts, but its presence should not be assumed on every 2024 RC 390. Check the individual motorcycle’s equipment and documentation before buying.
6. What does the TFT display offer?
The RC 390 has a TFT display with an ambient-light sensor, and KTM says display customization is available through the switchgear. The U.S. model page does not establish that every display setting or feature is available in every market.

7. How adjustable is the riding position?
KTM describes clip-on handlebars with 10 mm of height adjustment, foldable mirrors and a seat profile intended to let the rider move around. These are design details, not proof of comfort for every rider, body type or trip length.
8. How tall is the seat, and what are the dimensions?
KTM lists an 824 mm seat height, 158 mm ground clearance and an approximate 13.7 L tank capacity. Its listed 158 kg weight is without fuel, so it should not be treated as a ready-to-ride or wet-weight figure, or compared directly with another motorcycle’s wet weight.

10. Which accessories are listed for the RC 390?
KTM’s model page lists accessories including a rear bag, grip protection set, bike ramp, fender kit, protective indoor cover, torque wrench, screwdriver kit and smartphone universal adapter. Treat that list as a starting point rather than confirmation that a specific item fits a specific 2024 motorcycle: verify year fitment, seller and availability before ordering.
