The guide also identifies a 2.91 axle ratio for this configuration. GCWR is the maximum permitted combined weight of the loaded truck and trailer; it is not an additional trailer allowance.

Ford qualifies its maximum capability this way: “Maximum towing capabilities are for properly equipped vehicles with required equipment and a 150-lb. driver and passenger and vary based on cargo, vehicle configuration, accessories, option content and number of passengers.” Check the exact truck’s equipment and labels, account for passengers and cargo, and keep the combined loaded truck-and-trailer weight within the GCWR. What is the payload on a Ford Maverick?
There is no single payload figure established here for every 2024 Maverick Lariat FWD Hybrid. Can a Ford Maverick Hybrid be flat towed?
Ford’s 2024 Quick Reference Guide permits flat towing a hybrid Maverick with all four wheels on the ground under specified conditions. The procedure requires Neutral Tow to be switched on, the vehicle to face forward, and the parking brake to be released; the stated maximum speed is 70 mph (113 km/h). Is there a bed extender for this Maverick?
