2023 Versys 650 LT price and U.S. availability
Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., announced a $10,099 MSRP for the 2023 Versys 650 LT in Metallic Spark Black / Metallic Flat Spark Black. The October 4, 2022 announcement said the model was expected at dealerships in fall 2022. This is the manufacturer’s launch-era U.S. MSRP; it does not establish today’s dealer price, used-market value, or availability.
The figure is specific to the U.S. LT trim. Kawasaki’s India-market MY23 announcement lists a separate INR 7,36,000 ex-showroom starting price for that market and different colors, not a price for the U.S. LT.
Engine and performance specifications
The LT uses a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 649cc parallel twin paired with a six-speed transmission. Kawasaki’s U.S. specification sheet lists maximum torque of 47.0 lb-ft. That is a manufacturer-published specification, not an independent dynamometer result. The U.S. LT material cited here does not provide a horsepower figure, so one is not included.

For context, a Latin America 2023 Versys 650 specification sheet lists 44.8 lb-ft, but it describes a non-LT regional trim. It is not a substitute for the U.S. LT specification.
Touring equipment and rider technology
The LT’s practical distinction is its included touring equipment: 28-liter quick-release KQR hard saddlebags and hand guards. The saddlebags work with Kawasaki’s One Key System. The model also comes with Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC), ABS, a color TFT instrument display, and smartphone connectivity through RIDEOLOGY THE APP.

Weight, dimensions and chassis
Kawasaki lists a curb weight of 482.9 lb before adding the saddlebags and hand guards; the company says those items add approximately 20 lb. Kawasaki defines curb weight as including necessary fluids, more than 90 percent of fuel capacity, and a tool kit if supplied.

The company’s October 2022 press release directs media users to Kawasaki Media for high-resolution downloads after login or registration. Access requirements and permission to publish images may vary, so confirm both with Kawasaki before using a downloaded asset.
