The 2023 Ducati Panigale V2 is the 955 cc Superquadro generation, rated by Ducati at 155 hp and 104 Nm (76.7 lb-ft). It pairs that V-twin with adjustable Showa and Sachs suspension, Brembo brakes and cornering-focused electronics. Ducati’s official specification sheet does not give a 2023 U.S. MSRP, and available official imagery must be checked carefully: Ducati’s current model page shows the redesigned 890 cc generation, not the 2023 bike.
2023 Panigale V2 performance and engine
Ducati’s MY2023 technical specification sheet lists a liquid-cooled, 90-degree 955 cc Superquadro V-twin with desmodromic timing and four valves per cylinder. Ducati rates it at 155 hp (114 kW) at 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm (76.7 lb-ft) at 9,000 rpm. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured test results.
The engine figures also appear in Ducati’s June 6, 2023 announcement for the 2024 Black on Black update. That announcement discusses the 2024 livery and update; it should not be used to silently substitute later details for the MY2023 specification.
Chassis, suspension, brakes and tires
The MY2023 sheet specifies an aluminum monocoque frame and single-sided aluminum swingarm. Suspension consists of a fully adjustable 43 mm Showa BPF fork and a fully adjustable Sachs rear shock. Ducati lists a Sachs steering damper as well.

At the front, two 320 mm semi-floating discs work with radially mounted four-piston Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers and Cornering ABS EVO. The rear has a 245 mm disc, a two-piston caliper and Cornering ABS EVO.
The sheet lists Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires: 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/60 ZR17 at the rear. Confirm the correct fitment for the specific motorcycle before buying replacement tires. Ducati’s 2023 announcement describes the newer 2024 update as using standard Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tires; that is a distinct claim and not the MY2023 sheet’s tire listing.

Electronics and standard equipment
Ducati lists the MY2023 electronics package as including Riding Modes, Power Modes, Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Engine Brake Control EVO and Ducati Quick Shift up/down EVO 2. The 2023 announcement says the system is based on a six-axis inertial platform.
Other listed equipment includes auto tire calibration, full-LED lighting with daytime running light, and automatic turn-signal shutoff. The sheet also says the bike is prepared for the Ducati Data Analyser+ with GPS module, Ducati Multimedia System and anti-theft system. “Ready for” means prepared for those systems; it does not establish that they are included as standard equipment.

Dry weight and running-order weight are different measures: do not treat the 176 kg dry figure as the motorcycle’s ready-to-ride weight. Ducati’s sheet supplies both values but does not define additional weighing conditions in the cited figures.
2023 Ducati Panigale V2 price
An official 2023 U.S. base MSRP is not established by the cited MY2023 specification sheet. Ducati’s June 2023 announcement gives $18,595 in the United States and CAD $20,895 in Canada for the Black on Black livery announced for 2024, with dealer availability stated for the third quarter. Those prices are for that 2024 update, not proof of the 2023 base price.

For a used 2023 Panigale V2, the asking price depends on location, condition, mileage and date. No current used-market price range is established here, so compare live local listings rather than treating the 2024 announced price as a 2023 valuation.

Ducati’s Black on Black announcement page includes imagery associated with the 2024 update. Ducati describes that livery as having “the predominance of dark matte grey” intercut with glossy black elements. This is a description of that colorway, not every 2023 Panigale V2.

Ducati’s current U.S. Panigale V2 page presents the redesigned newer generation, which uses an 890 cc engine. It is not a reliable source for labeling a photo or specification as a 2023 955 cc motorcycle. The consulted official sources do not establish a dedicated, date-labeled MY2023 photo gallery; check the image caption, model year and livery before using a photo to identify a specific bike.
How the 2023 model differs from the newer Panigale V2
The model-year distinction matters because the Panigale V2 was redesigned for the newer generation. Ducati’s current Superquadro overview identifies Panigale V2 models through MY2024 as the 955 cc, 155 hp version, while the current U.S. product page describes the redesigned 890 cc motorcycle. Do not carry the 2023 engine size, output, price or appearance across that redesign without confirming the relevant model year.
