The 2023 Corvette Z06’s Z07 package is a coordinated track-focused upgrade—not just a rear wing or a brake option. It combines carbon-fiber aerodynamic parts, a unique FE7 suspension and Magnetic Ride Control calibration, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, and carbon-ceramic brakes. Carbon-fiber wheels are available separately; they are not included on every Z07-equipped Z06.
What does the Z07 package include on a 2023 Corvette Z06?
Z07 changes several parts of the car that work together: aerodynamic load, chassis response, tire grip, and braking. Chevrolet’s 2023 brochure also specifies required exterior equipment, so Z07 is a factory configuration rather than a set of unrelated add-ons.
Carbon-fiber aerodynamic package
The package adds a larger front splitter, front-corner dive planes, a rear wing, and underbody strakes. Chevrolet said the Z07 configuration produces 734 pounds of downforce at 186 mph in its October 2021 launch release. That is a manufacturer-stated figure at a specific speed, not an independent test result. Chevrolet’s Z06 launch release
FE7 suspension and Magnetic Ride Control
Z07 includes the unique FE7 suspension and a Z07-specific Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 calibration. The 2023 brochure describes the equipment as Z07 suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control. These chassis changes are part of the package, not simply a cosmetic aero treatment. 2023 Chevrolet Corvette brochure

Required exterior equipment
The 2023 brochure says Z07 requires Carbon Flash-painted or visible carbon-fiber ground effects and a high-wing rear spoiler. The factory package is therefore not equivalent to fitting a few similar-looking aftermarket parts to a standard Z06.
What is the difference between a Z06 and a Z06 Z07?
The Z06 is the underlying model; Z07 is an available package that adds track-oriented aero, chassis calibration, tires, and brakes. The powertrain is not the defining distinction: GM rated the naturally aspirated 5.5-liter LT6 V8 at 670 hp at 8,400 rpm and 460 lb-ft at 6,300 rpm, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Does the Z07 package include carbon-fiber wheels?
No. Carbon-fiber wheels are an available option, not standard equipment in every Z07 package. Chevrolet says the optional wheels reduce unsprung mass by 41 pounds (18.6 kg). Its brochure lists carbon-fiber wheel variants and states that they require the carbon-ceramic brakes. Chevrolet’s Z06 launch release · 2023 Chevrolet Corvette brochure

What tires come on a Z06 with Z07?
The factory Z07 tire is the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R ZP, sized 275/30ZR20 at the front and 345/25ZR21 at the rear. By comparison, Chevrolet lists the Pilot Sport 4S ZP in those same nominal sizes for the standard Z06. Confirm fitment for the specific car and wheel combination before buying replacement tires; Chevrolet says to use only GM-approved wheel-and-tire combinations. 2023 Chevrolet Corvette brochure
Important tire-use limitation
Chevrolet describes the tires as summer-only and warns against winter use. Their factory fitment does not make them suitable for cold-weather driving; follow Chevrolet’s tire and wheel guidance for the car’s configuration. 2023 Chevrolet Corvette brochure

What performance does Chevrolet publish for Z07?
Chevrolet’s 2023 Corvette brochure lists the following Z07 figures. They are automaker-published specifications, not independent test results:
- 0–60 mph: 2.6 seconds
- Quarter-mile: 10.6 seconds at 131 mph
- Maximum lateral acceleration: 1.22 g
- 60–0 mph braking distance: 102.9 feet
These numbers describe Chevrolet’s published Z07 performance claims; they should not be treated as a guarantee for every driver, surface, tire condition, or vehicle setup. 2023 Chevrolet Corvette brochure
