KTM Japan lists a 124.7 cc engine producing 15 PS and 12 Nm, paired with a six-speed transmission. Those are published specifications—not independent acceleration, top-speed or fuel-economy results. Prices also depend on country and date: Japan’s 2022 launch price and 2025 revised list price are historical figures, not a current used-market valuation.
What changed for the 2022 KTM RC 125?
KTM announced its redesigned 2022 RC range on 31 August 2021. The company described the generation as having Grand Prix-inspired bodywork, chassis changes, revised suspension and improved ergonomics, and said it was expected to reach dealers from March 2022. KTM said the RC 125 received WP APEX open-cartridge front forks with a new, sportier factory setting and a WP APEX rear shock absorber with split-piston functionality. The statement describes the manufacturer’s equipment and setup; it does not establish how the motorcycle performs in a road or track test.
KTM also reported range-level weight savings versus the previous generation: 3.4 kg less unsprung weight from redesigned wheels, 960 g saved by the ByBre braking system and a 1.5 kg frame saving. These are manufacturer-reported comparisons for the range and should not be read as independently verified measurements or as figures unique to the RC 125.

Specifications can differ by market or configuration. Check the documentation for the specific motorcycle before relying on these figures, especially when ordering replacement tires or parts. What “performance” means here
The published 15 PS and 12 Nm figures indicate the engine’s stated output and torque, with their corresponding engine speeds. The cited materials do not provide independent acceleration times, a tested top speed or fuel-economy results. Treat claims about those outcomes as unverified unless they come with a clearly identified test and conditions; do not infer them from the specification figures alone.
2022 KTM RC 125 price by market and date
These are separately published historical prices, not directly interchangeable quotes. The Japanese figures include their stated tax context; the Indian figure is an introductory Delhi ex-showroom price.

Displays and equipment can vary by market
KTM’s international announcement describes KTM MY RIDE availability through a new TFT display on the RC 125 and RC 390. However, KTM Japan’s launch notice says MY RIDE is not equipped on its Japanese RC 125. 2022 KTM RC 125 photos
KTM’s international announcement includes a 24-image press set showing the redesigned RC generation and its revised bodywork. It is a useful source for period-correct visuals, but a photo alone cannot confirm a particular regional trim or optional equipment.
