What oil and filter does a 2015 FE 250 take?
For an oil and filter change, the 2015 manual specifies 1.20 litres of SAE 10W/50 engine oil. The service includes replacing the oil filter and cleaning the oil screen. Husqvarna warns that too little engine oil or poor-quality oil can cause premature wear. How often does the manual schedule service?
The 2015 owner’s manual organizes scheduled checks around one operating hour, every 15 operating hours, and every 30 operating hours or after every race, with additional work at longer intervals. Those intervals are a summary of the schedule, not a complete task list: use the manual’s table to see which inspection or service applies at each interval. Actual use matters too. How to check replacement-part fitment

For filters and other service items, check the exact model year and regional fitment, whether the part is OEM or aftermarket, any stated part number or supersession, and the seller’s return and support terms. Candidate items such as air filters, brake pads, sprockets and service tools still need part-number and fitment confirmation; no particular listing is established here as compatible.

The manual can guide identification and scheduled maintenance, but it cannot establish the condition or service history of an individual motorcycle. Ask for maintenance records and inspect the bike itself; pay particular attention to wear-sensitive drivetrain, brake and suspension components if it has been used in sand or wet, muddy conditions. Do not infer that a bike has had an inspection or repair simply because the manual specifies an interval.
