The 2013 Red Bull Racing X2014 is a fictional Gran Turismo concept car, not a production Red Bull road car or a race car that competed in a real-world series. Created for Gran Turismo 6 through a collaboration between Red Bull Racing and Polyphony Digital, with Adrian Newey involved, the X2014 imagines a Formula One-style car unconstrained by racing regulations. The name covers three game-car versions: Junior, Standard and Fan Car.
What is the Red Bull X2014?
The X2014 is a design concept made for the Gran Turismo game series. Car Styling describes it as a vision of a futuristic Formula One car without rule limits, and attributes the collaboration to Red Bull Racing and Polyphony Digital, with Adrian Newey named in connection with the project. That description is concept framing: it does not mean an actual racing series approved or raced the car. Car Styling’s X2014 concept background credits motor.ru as its source material.
Because the X2014 is a game concept rather than a production vehicle, its performance figures are in-game specifications, not verified measurements from a physical car. Also, an unqualified reference to “the X2014” can mean the whole family; figures should be tied to a specific version and game.
How do the X2014 versions differ?
The family comprises Junior, Standard and Fan Car versions. Their reported distinctions are primarily about aerodynamic design and performance tier, rather than different production trims.

| Version | Reported distinction | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Junior | Described as the base version. | The cited concept overview does not give a comparable set of performance figures. |
| Standard | Described as having more developed aerodynamics. A community-maintained game reference characterizes it as a Venturi-style car without the axial-flow fan and skirts associated with the Fan Car. | Any listed specifications are game-reference figures, not confirmed real-car specifications. |
| Fan Car | Uses a fan to create ground effect beneath the floor; the cited description also associates the configuration with skirts. | Do not assume Fan Car details apply to the Standard or Junior. |
The distinctions above come from Car Styling’s concept overview and the community-maintained Gran Turismo reference for the Standard. The latter describes a game car; its engineering terms should not be read as evidence of a completed physical prototype.
What are the X2014 Standard’s reported specifications?
A community-maintained Gran Turismo reference lists the X2014 Standard with a 2,000 cc turbocharged V6, 810 PS, a mass of 650 kg and a stated top speed of 357 km/h. These are reported specifications for the in-game Standard, not independently verified physical-car data. The reference is not an official Gran Turismo source, and the exact game/version context for those figures is not established here, so treat them as game-reference values rather than universal specifications. See the community reference’s X2014 Standard entry.
