How to read the price comparison
BMW’s September 29, 2026 US announcement gives the 2027 G50 3 Series’ base MSRPs before $1,350 destination and handling. Cars.com reports the corresponding destination-included US prices. Its article also reports that all four versions were expected in the first quarter of 2027; that is a projected timing, not confirmation of availability in every market. These are US figures, not UK retail prices.

BMW describes the M350 xDrive as the gasoline-powered flagship, rated at 437 hp and 0–60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The fully electric i3 50 xDrive is rated by BMW at 463 hp, with an estimated range of up to 468 miles. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. For historical US context, BMW lists the 2026 330i at $48,000 and 330i xDrive at $50,000 starting MSRP, both with 255 hp; those are pre-destination figures.
The used-car prices below are individual UK asking-price examples reported by Top Gear on October 2, 2026, not confirmed live offers or market averages. 2017 BMW 340i Touring (F31) — £17,449

BMW 328i Coupe (E36) — £11,000 or best offer
The two-door has a 2.8-litre engine rated at 190 bhp and a manual gearbox. The described example had three owners and fewer than 60,000 miles. Those are listing details, not an independent condition assessment.
BMW 325i (E30), 1988 — £18,000
Top Gear describes this example as having 171 bhp, fewer than 100,000 miles, a handful of owners, and recent “comprehensive mechanical recommissioning.” That asking price belongs to this particular classic-car listing; it is not a general valuation for E30s.

That emissions-zone context is specific to London and should not be generalized to every UK location; check current local rules and the individual vehicle’s compliance before buying.
