What the price ranking does—and does not—tell you
The Bolt EUV was the least expensive model in this ranking, with the Kona Electric next. But a starting price is an entry point, not a like-for-like transaction price. Trim equipment, destination charges, regional pricing, and incentives can change the amount a shopper pays, and the cited list does not provide a common out-the-door calculation for all ten vehicles.

Plug In America listed illustrative starting prices of $26,595 for the Bolt EV/EUV, $35,245 for the Kona EV, $38,790 for the ID.4, and $47,190 for the Ariya. Those figures differ from MotorTrend’s, reflecting differing source dates, configurations, and price conventions—not a basis for combining the two lists into one precise ranking. How to compare range across these SUVs
Range is configuration-dependent, so compare the specific trim and drivetrain you are considering rather than relying on the highest number associated with a model family. In MotorTrend’s comparison, the Kona Electric was listed at 258 miles, while the ID.4 spanned 209 to 275 miles across configurations. Nissan’s 2023 press kit gives the Ariya Venture+ an EPA-estimated range of up to 304 miles; that maximum applies to that trim, not every Ariya. Choose by use, not just by rank
A lower listed price may matter most if your daily trips are short and the vehicle fits your passenger and cargo needs. For longer regular drives, consider the range of the exact configuration, where you can charge, and how much time a charging stop might add. The available comparison material does not establish a trim-by-trim, all-ten-model assessment of all-wheel drive, cargo capacity, or charging speed, so verify those specifications for the specific vehicle before deciding.
